Everything was just perfect! Our host was amazing. Very friendly, flexible and helpful. We simply loved it there. The apartment is made with so much love for detail and it seems to be brand new. Nice welcome by the owner. The interior is very cozy with old antique furniture. The bed could belong to a royal castle. There is a kitchenette with a stove, a coffee machine and a refrigerator. The bathroom is modern and comfortable. The property is dog-friendly. There is a big park nearby where you can walk your dog. The size of our room was probably 60 sq m and not only 40 as indicated. Coziest hotel room we have ever experienced. The property is a 7-minute drive from the ferry harbour.

I don't think we saw Larvik at its' best - on a cold, dark...

I don't think we saw Larvik at its' best - on a cold, dark and windy December night - the restaurants mainly all shut around 9pm which left us with a slightly dodgy Chinese takeaway in which we found a hair, so not great. However, what we did see was quaint and pretty with a beautiful harbour.

On a road trip through Norway, knowing what I know now, I would have stayed here longer. My ferry is on Wednesday, so I have a day and a half to get to Kristiansand. I would have preferred to stay here longer, lovely hotel, great staff and lovely facilities. Put this on your radar for a stop over.

Very convenient location for the port and ferry - 5 minutes drive away. Modern, extremely comfortable hotel, great sized room with air con which was a life saver this summer! Good food offer in the restaurant and bar area. Parking is very convenient secure and decent value.

For a stay in the Larvik/Stavern area this is a great place to rent Airbnb. You settle yourself in a beautiful and newly renovated apartment. You have the whole garden at your disposal and can have breakfast under the cherry tree.

Everything. It is situated in the middle of Larvik, close to ferry, train, bus and the motorway. The room was extremely cozy, and all common areas were super clean. Bonus points for the bathroom that has a fantastic shower :D
