Staff was very nice, we came ať 6 pm and were offered soup and some refreshment for free, it was very nice. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Great value for the price.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel very welcoming. Communication with the owner was smooth and efficient throughout. The location turned out to be an excellent base for hiking adventures—definitely a great choice for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

The place was easy to find and you get the whole house to yourself. It has many rooms and can host many people! The kitchen was adequate and the house had a backyard where we could spend the evening. If you like old houses with a historic touch, you will like it.

Cozy on the beach promenade.

Cozy on the beach promenade. Several restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Short distance to the Telemark Canal and the locks. Recommend take away from Rice and Spice, 6 minutes drive from Henrik's hotel. Very good food.

I wanted to see the Telemark Canal and I really enjoyed it;...

I wanted to see the Telemark Canal and I really enjoyed it; it was lovely to stroll through Skien and learn more about Ibsen. It's not a "must-see" in Norway, but for me, it was, and it exceeded my expectations.

Skien is a cozy town. Lots of good places to eat.

Skien is a cozy town. Lots of good places to eat. Lektern and Madam Blom were my favorites. And good shops and shopping centers. And a town with lots of lovely flowers and sculptures. Nice walkway along the water there. And everyone should visit Brekkeparken with its nice view of the town. Absolutely great.

Favorite hotel must be Hotel Thon Høyers in Skien. Warm and welcoming staff. Castle-like hotel. My husband and I had definitely reached heaven...... Lovely beds and a delicious breakfast. You dreamed yourself away in another time..... shame that the stay was short but will definitely return again without a doubt.....

A lovely little town in a beautiful country.

A lovely little town in a beautiful country. Good shopping, nice cafes, and great restaurants. Admittedly, it's not exactly cheap! A rental car is a great way to explore the surrounding area. The pictures also show other places, such as Brevik.

The breakfast was good. Dinners are included in the price of the stay and although a bit simple, it was good to have it as an option! The hotel is located right in the center of the town, so you can go exploring it. There is a nice playground right in front of the hotel that kids can use. And a mini-golf field as well, for which you can lend clubs at the reception of the hotel.

They don’t answer the phone. I tried to call them several times. At night I couldn’t get into the hotel, so I had to go to another one and ended up paying double for my accommodation. When I asked them for a refund, they refused. I do not recommend this place!

Very nice little apartment. Unfortunately we only slept in the apartment and left at 6 in the morning. But the apartment is new and very nice with a big terrace. If ever in Skien we will definitely come back. Quick and easy communication with the hostess.
