Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Only 15 minutes drive to shopping center (Frankton), 20 minutes to queenstown. Room was perfect. Breakfast was perfect. There are other acitivites available like wine taste and outside hot tub. Queenstown was too crowded in my opinion but staying here you can enjoy the peaceful view of countryside while still have convenience to everything you need for your holiday. Great value for money. Will definitely recommend.

Location was on the outskirts of Queenstown, which made access by car so much easier. Grocery store, bus stop and services nearby. Loved dishwasher and laundry in the room. Big space, modern and comfortable. Parking tight, but available. Great coffee maker, heated floors, great bed and shower. We would definitely come back.

Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio.

Amazing hotel with rustic charm and historic character, perfect for photography. The food is delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Yang—big thanks to him for his excellent service and warm smile. The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

We stayed for about a week and liked everything -clean and comfortable rooms -breakfast was really good, amazing coffee by Bella -amazing staff, super busy but they were all so nice (Guido, Bella, Amelio and the manager) -we really liked the location, just a quick drive into town, lots of great restaurants nearby, very close to the airport
