Loved the outdoor bath - secure, private and serene. The continental breakfast was lovely. Comfortable bed, everything you needed was there. I didn’t meet the hosts as I was sightseeing all day, but communication was great.

Friendly place good range of cafes etc liked the Kiwiana and hanging baskets . Town made an effort . Close to Waitomo Caves and enroute to Hamilton . Ate at Jasmihes Thai picked up picnic lunch at Fat Kiwi . Got supplies from Woolworths Countdown

Although this is a small country town it had all the conveniences we needed such as a Countdown, restaurants, cafes, great little unique shops, the kiwi house, green spaces, good public toilets, a big laundromat, take aways etc. Also very close to the Waitomo Caves, which is very handy.

We loved everything about our stay.

We loved everything about our stay. We arrived late at night and the room was waiting for us with the cosy warm light on so we knew exactly where to go in the dark. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and big and the breakfast was delicious. I can not think of anything should have been better, we were 100% satisfied and would love to stay longer or come back.

Loved the location, facilities, breakfast and welcoming host. It was perfect for our overnight stay and we really should have stayed a second night. The cabin is cute, well appointed and has a little deck with outdoor table & chairs. It was slightly ‘tight’ for room with our big traveling cases but we made it work.

On arrival the manager kindly upgraded our cabin to a larger 1 bedroom self contained unit, thank you!!!. The unit was comfortable and met our needs. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and stopped for chats which we love. The well kept salt water pool was a lifesaver in the heat. The convenient onsite laundry both wash & dry. The developments going on in the camp show the owners have motivation and drive to improve their awesome holiday park. The location to Otorohanga township for fuel, food, etc.

Great rural location and yet close to Otorohanga and Waitomo. Great place to view early morning sunrise from hilltop. Enjoyed interacting with the friendly owners and the separate, yet within the home, rooms. Able to use the home owners kitchen and deck to enjoy an outdoor dinner.

Great location not far from Otorohanga. Good parking and amazing views of the countryside. Well equipped kitchen with choice of cereals. Comfortable beds and tidy and clean. Beautiful decor.
