This is a very atypical place to stay - a single cottage on a sheep farm 3 km from town. But it, and the farm animals all around you are charming. Elwyn is a great host. Let her know the morning or day before your stay if you want dinner, and byob.

This place was fabulous. We were greeted by a very friendly host who showed us into "our house". It was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There were fly screens on the windows and doors which was great as it let fresh air in but kept the insects out. There was a nice touch of chocolates and biscuits and also books and games to relax with. There was fantastic view from the window and was so peaceful. A short walk takes you over over Pokororo swingbridge over the river. It was a real home from home!

After driving up the country lane we struck a beautiful modern stay. Overlooking a basketball half court and an incredible pool not to mention the outstanding country vista. Clean, spacious and cool. This place is fantastic. The breakfast was really good too.
