Many things, but worth to hightlight: - Comfortable bed, the way the beds were build makes them more solid, and upper bed doesn't affect lower bed. - Many and big "living rooms" with sofa or stations to work. - Best: Normal shower which the shower head is not fixed on the wall.

The room was generously spacious, offering a high level of comfort. It had a modern touch, with the convenience of an in-room iPad for accessing menus and requesting services, such as e-bike rentals. The location is excellent; reaching the cathedral and the commercial district within just a 10-minute walk.

Hardly find hotels where u can cook your own food inside. Golden hotel has mini kitchen with cooking utensils available for you to cook food inside room. Very neat and tidy. Easy check in and check out process. Always prefer to stay here whenever I visited christchurch. Near to airport as well.

The Villas (only 2 on the property) are superb. Very private and beautifully located overlooking the vineyard. There is no TV which is a great thing. Absolutely loved our stay and would have stayed longer if we hadn't been returning home. The restaurant service, food and wine was excellent.
