Just two minutes drive from Jabrin castle. Newly furnished room, everything is neat and tidy. There is a nice cafe on the first floor where we could have a decent breakfast and coffee to go, not to mention the friendly staff who helped a lot during check-in/out.

Amazing!!! It’s a little heaven - very cute garden and modern interior. The host is lovely, giving us some tips on the region and making sure we have everything we needed (and offering us Omani sweets!). It’s very clean, functional and calm. There is also a little barbecue. The place is very well located - 30 mins from Nizwa and other villages (Al Hamra, Birkat, Misfah), in the center of Bahla and 1.30min from Jebel shams. It felt like home!

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. Suliman helped us when we struggled with unexpected problem with our car rental, prepared a detailed plan of our sightseeing, reccomended us great restaurants and was very protective even after we left. It was not only the accommodation, but also the host, Mr. Ahmed, which made our stay extremely pleasant and comfortable. We are Romanians, and we have this mentality that, when someone comes to your house, to put everything you have on the table. I rarely give 10 points: only when the place has something special to offer that makes your stay memorable. We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. The staff was very kind and helpful. The dinners were amazing and plentiful. The guesthouse provided a 'time travel' vibe. The surroundings are also special with the date fields: a little oasis and the ancient town within walking distance. I must also mention the small coffee shop next to this guesthouse: I had my best espresso there in Oman.

Everything was perfect. From the beautiful house itself and the delicious food (both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, made at home or by local cooks, out of local products, easily one of the best, if not the best, I had in Oman), through small details like the smell of incense all around the guesthouse, elegant design choices, and the high quality soap (available to buy downstairs!), to the host herself and the ambience she creates for this place. I loved her idea to have shared dinners and breakfasts, with her and/or other travelers. It is a wonderful way to exchange stories and experiences while building a small community of Bait Al Aali people. Emina knows a lot about the region, has interesting stories to tell, a big heart for animals and is conscious about sustainable development of tourism. The area is magical and quiet, with a palm plantation just outside, where you can stroll for hours and relax. The room was spacious, with a lot of light, a big, comfortable bed and a private, very clean and modern bathroom. Everything is freshly renovated, the terrace has an incredible view of the area, and Emina makes sure that the place feels like home you want to return to. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!
