If you love the great outdoors you will love it here! Such a laid-back and relaxing camp to be in. It’s small; not too many tents and not many lights and is so quiet. Said is a friendly, warm and helpful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him! He comes from a family of Bedouins and still lives in the desert himself so you know you are getting an authentic experience. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and transport to and from the meeting point was FREE, which is awesome because we didn’t have a 4x4 to get there. We really loved our stay at SandGlass Camp.

Very nice camp close to the street but by foot you can climb a big dune just behind the chalet to see the sunset The staff is kind and very friendly. Good food.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. Highly recommend this camp for anyone looking for a perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and stunning natural beauty!

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Great isolated location on top of the dune. Fantastic place to meet sunrise in the chilly morning (we stayed in January). Amazing hosts Alfarooq and Said are keeping the authenticity and tranquility of the place. The camp is well kept, clean and the personnel are very helpful.

Many thanks to everyone as you made our experience in desert very unforgettable! Here it was the best Omani coffee which we've ever had during our trip! Camp is very nice. Tents are big enough, very clean, each has its own clean (!) toilet and hot shower. Nice common shelter. We arrived after sunset, left our car near the petrol station as suggested by camp and camp's driver brought us to camp. They offer this service if you are not ready to drive in sands. Communication was very effective. Me and my friend, 2 girls, were only guests in the camp for that night but we were welcomed very good. We had very good and delicious dinner as well as breakfast in the morning. We were welcomed very warm and feel ourselves safe. All the team were very kind! Don't bring any food with you as desert mice would disturb you all the night. Next morning we met sunrise on the top of closest dune (just walked by ourselves), had amazing breakfast and took 3hrs tour in desert. It was nice drive through dunes, visited nomad house, saw a lot of camels. There is WIFI in the camp but it also can be considered as drawback :)

Our experience at Zahr AlBun Villa was truly exceptional. The villa was beautifully authentic and perfectly located—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and fast, which made us feel very well taken care of. There was also a dedicated staff member on-site who brought us breakfast every morning and ensured everything in the villa was in perfect order. It was such a nice touch and really added to the relaxing experience. We highly recommend Zahr AlBun Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic, and well-managed place to stay. We would definitely come back!
