Stunning accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, an excellent guide, fascinating excursions, a scientific research centre which genuinely contributes to conserving the flora and fauna whilst helping the local community. Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

Amazon Planet is a true ecolodge within a natural protected area surrounded by primary original rainforest and wild animals in their natural habitat.

A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons....

Very easy access and very friendly for early arrivals that you could checkin immediately and start your venture to the jungle as soon as possible. We had wonderful two days there that everything was beyond my expectations. The suite with balcony to river views were superb, very comfortable and I could stay there all day. The staffs there were friendly and welcoming. The inclusive activities were well organised and interesting! I would love to comeback.

Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden.

The BEST amazon experience we could ever have! Staff: They were very nice and helpful. They were responsive to all our questions about activities and other information before our arrival. When we got there, we felt welcome and being supported. It felt that everyone tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Carlos at the reception was kind and considerate. Richard at the bar was nice and supportive. Staff at the tour desk were also very patient and supportive. Tour: We LOVE our guide Manuel who took us to the night walk and Sandoval lake tour. He was dedicated to help us find as many wild animals as he could. A very reliable and supportive man. We felt that he sincerely cared about the tour and the forest! It was impressive and heart-warming. The hotel offers a variety of tours, worth of exploring :) Food: LOVE the restaurant. food was delicious and well prepared! Hightly recommend Hotel Enai to everyone that visits Puerto Maldonado! Wish we could go back some day in the future.

Very nice place to stay. The airco was so nice because of the humidity and warmth. Room was very clean. The shower was hot and nice. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had a problem with the shower and they handeld and solved the problem for us so good. Highly recommend this place.
