The guys were super helpful and proactive with anything we needed, they picked us up at our previous accommodation, arranged transport to the next place, gave us local tips, introduced us to their friends and generally took care of us, we really felt like part of their home. The room had AC that worked great, swimming pool is right next to it and the surrounding nature is beautiful. We will be coming back for sure, thanks guys!

What an amazing place to stay! Bryce and Shaia are super active in organizing activities (Do the mountain hike and the beaches and waterfalls tour!!) It’s remote, it’s wild but super well organized. Shiela makes amazing food and the vibe… the vibe is one of a kind. Thank you guys!

Everything was just great, the place is located out of puerto princessa (30minutes by car) which we really enjoyed, this guesthouse is just a little gem, the couple that owns it is simply amazing and would go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience out of your stay, everybody is just really friendly, chef included! Great resort with everything you need. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! Ramaon and his staff are great and are all very friendly and helpful. Rona who cooked for us the entire time makes the best Filipino food we have had! The owner Ramaon is great and extremely helpful! He even took us to a full moon party on the beach and then spent the whole night drinking with us back at the resort. He even arranged onward travel to Port Barton and dropped us off at the bus station. The pool is big and the grounds are lovely and scenic. The resort is in the mountainous area of Bacungan and they even arranged a pick up from our other hotel in Puerto princessa. James and Laura who also help out at the resort even arranged for us to get a motorbike and dropped it off at the resort for us. As the resort is quite remote a motorbike for 1 day or so would be required to visit Nagtabon beach and the other beaches in the area. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable and did us fine for the 4 nights. If we were to return to Palawan we would 100% return to banlaw!!

Ocean Green Eco Lodge was our first stop in Palawan/the Philippines. The place is quite remote, but has anything you can possibly need and more. Only 3 bungalows on the property, fingerlickin' good food made daily from fresh and local ingredients, and breathtaking views to enjoy all day long from your balcony or the infinity pool up the hill. What the owners have created is simply a little slice of paradise. You'll never want to leave.
