The location of the house indeed is just near the hills, though limestone hills are actually scattered around the island. There are several hangout places in the house such as the living room, dining room and even the terrace which are very suitable for a group of, say, seven people or so. Solo and group travellers can take advantage of the other services offered by the host. A tip: you may ask the host for suggestions on the 'hidden gems' of the island as the host can also be hired as a local guide. Excellent place for Chocolate Hills and Carmen. Great meal and beers in the evening with a lovely breakfast outside our room. Plenty of chilled beers, very large room with big fridge. The owners Gordy and Ching are the loveliest kindest people

Felban's Farm was quite an experience to me. I enjoyed falling asleep and awaking with the sounds of nature - didnt sleep that well since along time. In the morning i joined my very kind and hospitalbe host during his daily routine feeding all the animals at his farm (fishes, pigs, rabbits, chicken, gooses, ducks, turkey, goats and many more). Daghan salamat to my host and his friendly crew. On my next stop in Carmen i will probably visit them again :)

Very nice, new room! Batuan is close to chocolate hills, tarsier reservation or Pangas waterfalls. The owner is very nice and helpful! He arranged us also tuk tuk for the trip. There is also small restaurant and the food was very good. Absolutely recommend :-)

This family is so friendly, kind and helpfull. The homestay is located in classis Filipino village which is not touristic at all. That was a big plus because we could discover the 'real' philipines instead of making daytrips from the bigger cities. From here we walked to the chocolate Hills for instant. Also the barbeque place in Batuan village is amazing.

We liked everything! We really felt at home from the moment we arrived. Both Lhoy and Jean are very careful and caring. Lhoy is an excellent tuk tuk driver, he knows everything about the island and took us to explore it with very high flexibility. Jean is an excellent cooker, who easily customised our meals according to our dietary needs. Everything is kept super clean and the family takes care of the common spaces. We really enjoyed spending time and talking with them! If you go to Bohol, this is a must stop! You cannot miss it, above all if you love the countryside and wish to get in touch with the rural life in the island. We will really miss them!
