We were touring and it was on our route so location was excellent. A friendly and helpful check-in and info about the town, how to find the shop etc. It was an excellent place to stay. Didn't use the pool as it was February and still cold air temperature. May if we return later in the year.

Had a nice time at the Hotel, the owner really cares about his guests. Since I was hiking and got a little of the track to get to the hotel he even drove me to the next crossing were I could continue to walk the Rota Vincentina. The hotel has a separated building block with guest apartments on the ground floor. Absolutely recommend the place. If I will get back into the region I will for sure spend a few nights there again.

Wonderful place! Very comfortable and spacious rooms into the countryside nature and close to wonderful beaches. Super friendly and available staff. They have 2 electric charge stations and are pet friendly.

A 6 star experience from the time we arrived until the time we left. A hidden gem overlooking the medieval town of Santiago do Cacém. The service was warm & impeccable at all times. Maria, one of the dinner ambassadors, took such great care of us. The food, using Alentejo products, was exceptional! Try the "painted" butter infused with smokey pork fat with local bread. We spent hours at the pool where there were plenty of loungers. The hotel welcomes furry pets & we were some of the few guests without a dog! The hotel is geared for kiddies & is popular with families. We stayed mid-week & it was lovely and relaxing On departure, we were even given eco-friendly water for the journey. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent hotel in Santiago Do Cacem. We had a problem with a lost passport and the staff could not have been more helpful in resolving the problem- outstanding service. Very good breakfast also.

This hotel is wonderful, so friendly and helpful staff, everything is clean and there was a cosy fireplace downstairs and the staff made a vegetarian meal for me even though is was only meat on the meny.

Beautifully located and very peaceful. Everybody was very helpful and we were lucky to be the first guests in that room, so everything was squeaky clean and brand new. And the sky was so clean at night we spent hours just staring at the stars :-)

It's a small piece of heaven "in the middle of nowhere". Vasco is a great host, communication was very quick and he even offered to drive me to the bus station when I was leaving! The place is simply wonderful - in an old house, beautifully renowated with modern amenities, absolutely cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and very spacious. The terraces, the garden, the view, the quiet, the starry night sky and bats flying around... I was so sorry I couldn't stay longer. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back one day! I would give 15 points if I could 😁

A real nest in Abela, a quaint little village in Alentejo not far from the most fabulous beaches. The house is spotlessly clean and very well equipped - all you need for a relaxing holiday. In the village, there are 3 cafes and a small grocery shop for your essentials.
