The whole stay was so incredible, we enjoyed every minute and hope we'll be able to come back. The staff is super friendly and pays attention to details, the communication was easy and fast and also available via whatsapp. We had breakfast and dinner included and the quality of the food was incredible, delicious & nutritious with the most beautiful view opportunities from the restaurants. The hotel is very family friendly and our toddler enjoyed the stay as much as we did. The gym is brand new and has a very good choice of machines also allowing a sweet view during your workouts. The private entrance to the beach is great and opens the floor to a magnificent landscape and very nice beach. Overall we are super happy to have been able to enjoy our holidays here – thank you!

Truly great hotel. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of quality options. The stuff was helpful and polite. The location is perfect as it is located near the stunning Falésia beach. The facilities were really good and most important very maintained. Definitely will come back!

The apartment was really good. Kitchen had good appliances and equipments. Bathroom was big and had good shower. Altough Gardens are close to the main gate it was easy walk to all the restaurants and beach. Restaurants were quite pricy but according to the room prices. Breakfast was excellent and other food also good. Chlidren play ground was the best I have seen in hotels.

Sun, Sand and The Strip!

One of the best Algarve resorts, Albufeira has wonderful beaches, turquoise waters and the dramatic, rocky coastline that makes this part of Portugal so special.

Naturally, life here is all about sun, sand and sea. The most popular Albufeira beach is Fisherman’s Beach and you can still see locals bringing in the fishing boats every morning - if you’re up early enough, that is. Tunnel Beach is accessed through an opening in the cliff, and both offer a variety of watersports.

Further up the coast is Albufeira Marina, from where sightseeing boat trips depart, while east of the town is the 9-hole Balaia golf course. On the way here, you pass Arias de Sao João, home to The Strip where the best bars and clubs are found, many staying open until the early hours.

The Old Town of Albufeira is more peaceful, and its cobbled streets house Moorish buildings and some great restaurants serving fresh fish. If you fancy a day trip from Albufeira, the 12th-century remains of Moorish Almoáda Castle in Paderne can be visited for free.

The town is around 45 minutes’ drive from Faro Airport and there is a fantastic range of beach resorts, small B&Bs and Albufeira apartments on Booking.com.

The old town was lovely and the beaches great but overall I was disappointed in Albufeira. I thought there would have been more to do but there wasn't. It felt more like a beach holiday than a city break. We travelled in November so it might have been to do with being out of season. A lot of venues, trips etc were closed or not on offer at this time of year. The marina was a 30 minute walk and that was where you picked up the tours for the dolphin and cave trip. Some tours offer a pick up from your hotel but we were in an apartment so this didn't apply to us. The bus station is also a 25 minute walk uphill from the old town. Albufeira was also very expensive to eat and drink but the quality of the food was very good. I'm glad I saw it but I don't think I would return.

The locals are friendly and the bars and restaurants are good too. We had some good weather and did lots of walking and visited lots of coffee shops and restaurants and supermarkets and local tourist attractions. My favourite place to eat is Neto or Lillie’s and our favourite bar was bar 33.

Our trip was amazing… perfect time of years for us, less busy, but still beautiful weather. Accommodation was perfect, the view from the roof top terrace was spectacular, from sun up till sun down. The host was amazing couldn’t have done more for us. This will definately be a yearly trip for us… and always at The Beach Residence, Albufeira xx

The beach was amazing.

The beach was amazing. I did find that the restaurants were lacking in authentic Portuguese food. Trying to find that was a problem for us. Bring comfy shoes as there is a lot of steep hills and stairs. Walking the beach was great. Exploring Old town was fun and interesting.

Albufeira?

Albufeira? Get's a bad wrap due the Strip and its association with the worst kind of British/Irish tourists. Hens/Stags - men with no tops on and women in bikinis at breakfast. After a busy season of dealing with the worst kind of tourists the workers like the November slow down. Some shops, bars cafe's restaurants close. Ideal time to enjoy a quieter existence in a pleasant climate away form the crass commercial run up to Christmas. Santa is here alright - but he is gold and subtle. The coastline is beautiful and the boat trips run the whole year. Quiet beaches where you can mellow out with a book dot the new and old towns coastlines. Families : this is a great place for fun filled family holidays ....swimming pools in cheap places, water parks, the tourist train, boat trips ...the kids will not get bored. £ Euros : an English Irish breakfast can be had at the Waterline Restaurant for 5 Euros a pop, Self cater ? Your groceries bills will be cut in half. Food produce healthy, a nice table wine litre for 85 cence a pop. Flixbus runs from the bus station in town - cheap to go visit other places. The locals are a good laugh, GNR and Municipal keep order. If I was still a European Union chick would stay here for good.

We stayed in a quiet area and was still east to get to the local supermarket and we rented a car. Easy to get around as we used uber and all within 20 mins. Old town Albuferia is more happening and very pretty sunset

Was amazing evening for 3 star hotel what you need.All family love the food we was there with 3 kids and food was amazing every day 😍 stuff was so nice and friendly make 1 week stay for us very spacial. Amazing position to walk to the old town on the beach!!! We just love all I think this hotel for 3 star is absolutely amazing give you more for your money!!! Well done MONICA ISABEL BEACH CLUB !!! This was the best choice to stay here! The room was really clean and modern. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom. We could cook here quite well. The apartman had a balcy which was also nice to have. Bed was comfy. There was a huuge wardrobe to put your clothes in. Nice and clean neighborhood. Enough parking space. Also, it was quite close to the "new town" and beaches. The old town of Albufeira is like 30 mins by foot, and 5 mins by car! Highly recommend this place!

The hotel is in a great location for walking around Albufeira Old town the beach and marina Swimming pool is very clean with a great view over the rooftops down to the sea The building itself is charming as is the hotel But the crowning glory are the staff The reception is supposed to be open from nine till six, but they seem to be around 24 seven always there to help out with anything with such warmth and friendliness. They were remarkable.
