Staying here was an excellent experience. Our toddler loved being able to roam around freely and enjoy all the facilities (lovely swimming pool with a child-friendly shallow area, trampoline, football, mini golf). For parents, there's plenty of hammocks and a fridge full of beer! It was safe, clean and comfortable. Great location too - just over the road there are tracks leading into the wooded hills which are great for walking and running. Sandra and Nuno are so friendly and helpful and are lovely hosts.

Everything is new, clean, and just like in the photos. At the same time, the atmosphere of antiquity is preserved: old chests and other rustic elements. The property was excellent, everything we needed had been anticipated and supplied, it was exceedingly clean and very modern in every aspect. We visited Estremoz on our 2nd day and had lunch in a 16th century prison, that and a visit to there amazing Saturday market made the trip.

its a beautiful convent from 1142 , turn to a hotel , beautiful grounds , but very hot that 44 deg c , better be in the room , inside or the pool good food at the restaurant , not to expensive , convent sao paulo is worth the trip , if you like peace and quiet .

In times of pandemic, it’s not always possible to offer what you normally offer but this hotel exceeded expectations in that area. The convento is spectacularly renovated retaining a lot of its history. The food was great. Next time we’d get a suite!

The location was perfect, remote enough for it to be fully peaceful but also close to some beautiful cities, sights, restaurants and activities for anyone looking to expand their stay beyond the facilities . The hotel itself is beautiful and has all the commodities for a wonderful family holiday with ease, comfort and simplicity. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was generally very good and the whole experience was so great we are sure to come again! Thank you

The convent compound is extraordinarily well located, lodged on a hillside among trees. The labyrintic interior with rooms and terraces on different levels is amazing and fun. The hotel made sure that the wood-burning fireplaces at strategic places are kept burning! The old nucleus with its hallways covered with painted tiles is stunning. The monks' cells were successfully transformed into comfortable guest rooms.

The convent is really a gem, we are so glad we picked this location; It’s absolutely stunning and the views are amazing. Very unique experience. breakfast is very good; staff are friendly; The room we stayed at (room 131)was very good and has a couple of chairs and umbrellas right at the front with beautiful views; The restaurant at the hotel is excellent; Our son loved the pool and the play room;

I loved the beautiful old convent that the hotel is located in. The pools are lovely and I appreciated the fact that one of the pools is adults only.
