Everything was just amazing. Joanna and Aran are superb hosts. Joanna prepared us the most delicious breakfast every morning and went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Even if we didn't get the chance to meet Aran personally, he managed to answer all our questions and provide meaningful support from a distance!

Very friendly family run place. They went out of their way to provide me with a vegan breakfast which was very much appreciated. It's a great place, super clean, spacious rooms, and a cafe next door. There is safe off-street parking which is locked at night. All in all a great place to stay.

Everything was absolutly excelent!!! The location, all the space , all the details, some of them look "random" but everything works perfectly. The garden, the most amazing hand made signature breakfast ( different every day ). Also a perfect place to take your pet! He also didn't wanted to leave. And, very important, not to forget : Jan and Lizz, the hosts. Coudn't ask for better hosts and how good it was talking to you. Keep up the good job and can't wait to see all the upgrades comming up🙂👌 To repeat? Absolutly. All the best, João & Rita

The property and surroundings was magical. Serene natural beauty. The cottage was perfect for our family of three. My son loved swimming in the river. Overall a 10/10 experience. Something completely different compared to the rest of the country.

This place is just amazing, a lot of handmade beautiful details that makes it very special! The owner is the most lovely person you can meet, she brought me dinner and breakfast so I didn't have to go to the village. It's very calm place and perfect when you are on camino. There is even jacuzzi that you can enjoy! So far it was the best place I stayed!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely homestay! The house was spotless and very well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely professional and thoughtful, providing plenty of helpful tips about the local area, which made my visit even more enjoyable. I had an amazing experience staying at Refúgio Vale da Pipa! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and fresh everything was. The place had such a welcoming vibe, with a cozy and organized layout that made it easy to settle in. The 2 bedroom setup was perfect, and the garden was beautifully maintained and such a peaceful spot to relax with a cup of coffee or just enjoy the outdoors. The location was another huge plus. It’s so convenient being within walking distance of everything you could need. There’s a supermarket nearby for groceries, a lovely park where the kids could play, and even clothing stores if you want to do a bit of shopping. The bus station was also super close, which made getting to Lisbon easy and stress free. What really stood out to me, though, was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. From answering questions to providing recommendations, they were friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality! Overall, this house felt like a home away from home, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!
