The location is perfect, surrounded by hills and with a view to the river. It offers the perfect nature getaway with comfort. The spa has two swimming pools, one adults only. The room was spotless and the cleaning team, restaurant staff and receptionists were exceptional. The breakfast was also very good from fresh fruits and bread, to good Portuguese cheese, and some homemade cakes and cookies. Also English breakfast available. The exterior playground was maintained and had a sand box. My only suggestion would be a room for children to play.

Dear Ann and Steen, What a wonderful couple are you Guys! The best hosts we ever had. The name of Bed and Breakfast is really what it should be, a warm home where you feel welcome from the start. Never felt as “at home” as we were with you. Will definitely recommend your stay to all our friends. Thank you very much for all the tips and tricks you gave us to discover the neighbourhood and also thanks to Steen for his incredible wine tour as well! Glad we could end our trip with a nice glass of vinho verde together. Hope to see you again, wherever that may be 😀😀

It was a haven close to paradise. The tranquility, beautiful surroundings were second to none. The Hosts and staff were most attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was super with a fantastic view over the valley and surrounding hills. Rooms were well appointed and beds comfortable. Fantastic pool. Our Dogs were made to feel very welcome....

We stayed in the one-bedroom chalet and absolutely loved it! The upstairs bedroom with the huge picture windows was so fantastic. We had rainy, chilly weather, so didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating and table, but it is really beautifully set up, inside and out. You can walk along the stream to get to a medieval bridge and, judging by the rope swing, it looked like you could swim in the stream in the summer. It's also a nice private location, at the end of the road with the three rental units well spaced out from one another. There's lots of nice sight-seeing and hiking to do in the area. We will definitely go back if we make another trip to Portugal.

Property was beautifully decorated and set in a lovely vineyard. It had great facilities including a wonderful shower. We were provided with wine from their vineyard and told we could pick fruit from the garden. Fresh figs in our granola every morning. Regina and Alberto went out of their way to help us in more ways than we can mention here. Thank you to our wonderful hosts and friends.
