The house was charming and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and the garden. There was plenty of space for our dogs to run around. The location is in the quiet village within 5 minutes drive to the big supermarkets. We will definitely come back in the future!

My wife and I have been to many lovely places and met some wonderful people over the last forty years, but this holday stay stands head and shoulders above them all. The owners were incredibly helpful even before we arrived, making special arrangements for our dog. When they found we were just completing the purchase of a house in Portugal they went into overdrive, introducing us to all kinds of local tradesmen and giving advice on everything we needed. The property is lovely and perfectly located for touring the area between Porto and Lisbon. The breakfast by the pool was always delicious as they use their own eggs, fruit and homemade bread and jams. And just to exemplify what exceptional human beings they are, the hosts invited us to dinner on the first night we stayed and came round to help clear our new garden the day we left! Thank you Felipe and Soisick, our guardian angels. Fight to get a room in Covoes for your holiday- it is just wonderful!!!

I didn't expect a check-in at the ramp guarding the entrance to the car park; but it works really well. Step out of the car, hand the ID to the receptionist, tell them what time you'd like your breakfast served and you're done - in minutes! We parked in a locked and roomy garage which is underneath the bedroom. Cool! As far as we could tell, all apartments offer such facility. Access to the bedroom is directly from the garage - also very cool. The bedroom had a balcony, a huge and very comfy double bed, a big bathroom with a powerful and hot shower ... we couldn't ask for more. Eveything looks very new. A supermarket is a few minutes drive away. Book with confidence!

We parked in a locked and roomy garage which is underneath the bedroom. Cool! As far as we could tell, all apartments offer such facility. Access to the bedroom is directly from the garage - also very cool. The bedroom had a balcony, a huge and very comfy double bed, a big bathroom with a powerful and hot shower ... we couldn't ask for more. Eveything looks very new. A supermarket is a few minutes drive away. Book with confidence!

We've been travelling a lot and have stayed in many places. Usually, I would not take the time to leave a review for a hotel where we only stayed one night - I don't have the time. However, this hotel stood out positively in almost every aspect (most other places had some really nice aspects, but also some issues) and was really good value.

Great place to stay in the heart of Cantanhede. Hotel is modern and with all the appliances you need for a great stay. Room was comfy and the bed was really good. Would add a pair of additional pillows, but overall, great place to stay. Breakfast was good enought.

The hotel was a newer property on the edge of town. Thankfully there was a nice restaurant next to the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and provided a secure place for us to store our bicycles.
