3bedrooms with very comfortable beds and in the living room a sofa opened to a bed also good. A small kitchen but with all you need for 4 people. The only hard thing is one shower a one toilet... but with good planing you can easily manage. The rooms were decorated with wild flower and was so lovely to enter a room like that. A very hilly small village but you get peace and quiet and the view is amazing. You can eat outside and enjoy the view. Very goo value for money, I highly recommend this house.

The hotel in Jardim do Mar has apartments with fully equipped kitchens, more suitable for couples or families for 2 or more nights. The room I have is huge with two large beds, a large bathroom and of course the kitchen. The lady at reception is very helpful and friendly and there is also a dinner buffet (excluding drinks) for 20 euros, with a choice of chicken, meat and fish, plus salads and desserts. The location is perfect for those who like to hike. The place seems to have been around for a while, as you can see from the 80s? 90's? deco. There is a cottage-style common room with sofas and a small library. The beautiful footpath PR Vereda Prazeres to Paul do Mar (700m, 1.80km) is right on the hotel grounds and is a great way to visit the small fishing village of Paul do Mar. Unfortunately, the weather was at its worst when I was there, but of the few hours of sunshine I did get, the view from the balcony was simply stunning.

The staff were fabulous and the hotel was just perfect for our honeymoon. The food was also beautiful with a different country theme every night so we could try out lots of different foods.

Looks even better in real life :) The hosts are super accommodating. We've got a list of recommended places around Calheta to eat/drink and it didn't disappoint at all In general, the accommodation is very cozy, the interior design is top notch and everything on the island is easily reachable with a car.

Everything was perfect. We have rented a whole house for us, something that i didnt expect, we were shocked when we saw how many facilities we had. We had a small problem with the boiling water but in max.20 min someone from the village resolved our problem, very fast, helpfull and profesional. This is a booking that you will remember for sure, its something that we didnt experinced till then.

    The place is ok, but the artificial smell was overwhelming.

    The place is ok, but the artificial smell was overwhelming. For sure we have left our usb car charger in the room. The host allowed us to check if it was there, but obviously it was removed while the room was being cleaned. So we didnt get it back, while host was pretending it wasn't there in the first place or it was taken by other people. I found it very disappointing.
