This area is good for many side trips. I would recommend visiting Marváo in the morning; then Cascata Trail de Marvão in the afternoon with a little side trip to Espanha (while in the area). A 2-night stay in this charming medieval village is the minimum. The owner upgraded us to a room with great views from the hotel window. The staff are very friendly and kind, as were the owners who were there everyday. Having an elevator and walk-in shower, was a major factor in our decision. The included breakfast has a variety of options including local and fresh traditional ingredients.
