The village is a great place to stay at night. It's very calm and wonderful, especially at sunset. The room was small but we didn't need more. It had everything we needed. The equipment is modern. From the room, we had a nice view over the area surrunding Monsaraz. If you want to visit Monsaraz, you should plan to stay the night (at Casa Dona Antonia)

The property it self was incredibly quaint and comfortable. A young lady checked us and was very accommodating w anything that we needed. The breakfast was outstanding. Everything was very fresh and made to order. There were chickens, goats and a duck on the property that were adorable.

This was such an authentic traditional Alentejo stay. Well situated with good restaurants around the corner. Magical view of the medieval town of Monsaraz up on the hilltop. There's a wonderful fluvial (river beach) on the largest manmade lake in Europe, only 6km's from the property. Make time to stargaze. The clarity of the stars at night is magnificent!

Super friendly staff, exemplary cleanliness, very nice swimming pool open 24 hours, good Wi-Fi, terrace in the room asking for a few minutes of contemplation of the unique night sky in Alqueva. Very good breakfast and the staff don't miss anything. It has a common area that allows you to make barbecue, or heat food in a microwave. The relative proximity to the beach river of Azenhas del Rei and Monsaraz, makes the stay complete. 10 stars
