It's a beautiful house in a magical location, after waking up we had the most dreamy mountain views from the balcony. The owner gave us tomatoes and lemons from her garden, and even though she didn't speak any English nor did we speak any Portuguese she was the most wonderful host. Everything was very clean. I would recommend this place a thousand times over, the value for money is unparalleled.

Margarida was the greatest host. Very kind and helpful, she'd even prepared a fire for us to arrive to on a wet and cold evening. The guesthouse Solar Alegria is in a wonderfully peaceful country village with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Very close and convenient for the Ecopista do Vouga. A large pool to cool off in! Jenni and Hugo are the perfect hosts and made us feel immediately at home. Jenni and her team are superb chefs, something we discovered by accident as we had not planned to dine in. Delicious Italian food with fresh ingredients from the local farms.

I had an incredible stay at Jenny and Hugo's place! They are truly exceptional hosts, incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze. Upon arrival, they kindly gifted me with freshly harvested vegetables from their garden, along with a delightful bottle of Port wine—a lovely touch! The house itself is beautifully restored and decorated, with a level of comfort that's beyond compare. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the views from both the bedroom and bed were absolutely breathtaking. They've provided an abundance of pillows, catering to every possible preference. The pool was a highlight—spacious, perfect temperature, and the surrounding area with grass, sofas, and a table made lounging exceptionally comfortable. It's a nature lover's paradise, with stunning views and an incredibly serene atmosphere. Jenny and Hugo were incredibly attentive throughout my stay, ensuring I had everything I needed. Three days in this peaceful place flew by—it was an absolute dream. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene getaway!
