Suceava is an attractive town with good amenities and a pleasant atmosphere. With its wide boulevard, central square and pavement cafes it's perfect for an evening stroll. The beautiful monastery, fortress and traditional village museum are definitely worth a visit. The important point about Suceava is as a centre for visiting the many attractions of the Bucovina, the surrounding area - in particular the painted monasteries; walking in the hills, woods and valleys; the handicrafts, the layout and architecture of the village houses; and the food of the region. So we decided last minute to spend the night in Suceava and we were Lucky to find Lucia's place. She was really kind from beginning to end, with a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast, where we could to enjoy her rescued dogs company.
