We really enjoyed our stay: from the warm welcome and 5-star customer service, to the room design and the breakfast. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, very refreshing after a flight and/or a walk in the neighbourhood. The hotel is conveniently located in Katong neighbourhood. Everything was just perfect! We will come back for sure!

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Sentosa Island was fun but go early to make the most of it. The gardens by the bay were lovely. Bumboat ride on the river was fun. Everything is much more expensive than it was in comparison to 20 years ago. Not nearly as good value as on previous visits.

We arrived just before the F1 Grand Prix, they were installing concrete barriers & fences which prevented you from seeing in, & began closing roads later in the week. They built overpass bridges but these were blocked off. We had a job trying to get from 1 side of the F1 track to the other. We travelled mainly by MRT [Underground train], which was excellent but needed a lot of walking; we used a [4 Day] Tourist Pass card. We used buses on 1 day [same Tourist Pass Card] to get to the Changi Chapel & Museum, with no problems [just tap in when you board & tap out when to alight]. They do not sell individual MRT journey tickets, you either get a travel pass [some can be topped up] or use your credit card & tap in/out. Singapore is very expensive - most places expect credit cards, [some smaller places accept cash]. Look out for Happy Hour & drinks deals.

We use Singapore as a delightful base for breaking the long journey from Europe to Australia. The area around Joo Chiat Road is a bustling and family-friendly part of outer Singapore City in the south east close to the seaside. The range of food on offer from a variety of ethnic origins means that there is always plenty of choice.

Singapore offers one of the greatest entertainment for the whole family and clean environment in the world and every thing is systematic, organized and easy to communicate with people. If we get a chance to stay forever in Singapore we will happily do it . That’s how much love we have for this beautiful country. We really thank the Singapore government for giving us such a wonderful place to visit and enjoy every bit of the country.

Singapore is really nice. Quite a touristy place obviously. Everything was good especially women safety. As someone who was travelling with a friend alone internationally for the first time, it felt really safe. We spent covering most tourist attractions that's why our days were busy. We got out early morning and came back late night. Depending on what you want to do here, you can plan your itinerary. Of course there are all these famous attractions like merlion park, gardens by the bay, Singapore flyer that everybody knows about but there are also some amazing beaches where you can just go and chill if you don't want to be in the city for the most part. Sentosa is another gem. I would say in a week you can explore major parts of Singapore. The only thing you should keep in mind if you come from a country where walking isn't norm, there's a lit of walking in Singapore. Like a lot. Unless you have enough money to book taxi everytime which I think is very expensive. Also, heads-up for vegetarians. Incredibly hard to find vegetarian food in Singapore except for Little India and Farrer park. You cannot just think oh I'll go out and grab something on the way. Overall, it's a beautiful city. Love the metro here. Well connected. Makes travel super easy.

Clean, curteous, safe, easy - everything is so efficient!

Clean, curteous, safe, easy - everything is so efficient! The MRT system puts every Australian city public transport system to shame - maximum wait time was 2mins! Expensive! Compared to other SE Asian countries your dollar doesn't go as far - so a week in Singapore is plenty when travelling with a family. Visit the Gardens by the Bay - well worth it!

QT Singapore is the perfect spot for a stay. It has the charm of a boutique hotel, the quality of a private members' club but the excellence of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are so well thought out from the interior to all the items stocked within the room. A cocktail shaker is on another level of personalisation. I've stayed in so many hotels in Singapore and only the best impress me i.e. Raffles, Capella, Swiss etc and this is definitely the new hotel to add that that list.

Location and 24 hour reception was good for an overnight stopover. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to public transport. We asked for a triple room and they gave us a twin (double beds) and a folding bed, so we got what we asked for, three beds. Rooms were big so no sense of being squished onto a dog box, as in some other budget hotels in Singapore.
