The host was so welcoming and friendly, and we really felt at home. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated and had just about everything we needed. The town where the apartment is located is so quaint, and it was so peaceful being there. Everything was very comfortable.

Lidija and Vinko are the most kind, friendly and caring hosts, I have ever met in my entire life! They met us (8 bikers, completely soaked after 9 hours of riding that day) with hot tea, homemade cake, and such hospitality, that we were overwhelmed! Even though we stayed there only for one night, they helped us with everything and ensured we felt ourselves at home. The house and apartments, where we stayed, had everything one may need. The calmness of the location and views from the house are amazing (pity, we couldn't enjoy them in good weather conditions, so we have to come one more time!) Thank you again for everything! Highly recommended!

We were under the wrong impression of the hike length. We were late for the check in - very late. However, I messaged if it would be possible to leave the keys out for us and some time before midnight, when we finally arrived, the place was waiting for us. Customer service level 158! The beds were the comfiest of our whole trip, the place is super nice, and the facilities are super new and clean. The people managing it are lovely and very helpful. We had an absolutely amazing time - especially after such a hard time...

Would decently recommend coming here!

Would decently recommend coming here! The nature is supreme and the air is so clean. There are a lot of hiking trails and all of them are very interesting. Staff wore very responsive, and the food is great.

The newer chalets (3-4 years old) are better and less tired...

The newer chalets (3-4 years old) are better and less tired but there are design faults (e.g. steep stairs, plumbing problems). The restaurant is very over-priced compared to Ljubliana or nearby restaurants so worth walking down the drive to the nearby hotel/camp site which has a good and friendly restaurant. Lots of lovely walks and would probably suit keen cyclists too.
