I really liked the super nice and caring staff. They were so friendly all the time. Apart from the really nice Ambiente, it has a beautiful view. Also the food and drinks were really good.

This is the best place I've stayed at in El Salvador! It may "look" remote, but the bus system is easy and sooo cheap, it's only 2 buses from Santa Ana, less than 1$ in total The location is dream-like. The water is warm and so good to swim in. I had the time of my life just enjoying the lake and the sun over there. They provide fresh water, and the hostel is surrounded by huge mango trees they invite you to eat for free as much as you want! The staff would bring me a plate and a knife anytime they would see me pick some mangoes up! The staff will treat you like family and is always willing to help. I've had some issues with the paiement and the staff did everything they could to accommodate me. The dorm was comfortable and the cleanest I've ever stayed at. Everything looks new and the bathroom was spotless. The dorm is far enough from the chilling spot so it was quiet at night: i slept so good. I would go back in a heartbeat, and spend more time in this piece of paradise

Amazing hotel central in Santa Ana. Area is very safe, we walked outside without problems. The personal was very welcoming, including Asmin the receptionist who was very helpful and spoke English well. Due to our schedule we had to have breakfast earlier than the set time, which they did without issue both days of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Velvet Down Town. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendliness and attentive service. They were always available to assist us with anything we needed. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is good and the location is perfect! We encountered some personal medical issues during our stay, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and would highly recommend Velvet Down Town!
