Hotel is spotlessly clean and location is perfect, very close to main strip but yet calm and peaceful. Atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant. Clean and big rooms. One of the best espreso coffee we have ever tried. Perfect sunset from rooftop pool. But far the best thing in the Hotel are staff members, they all are sooooo nice, kind and helpful. At the end of our holiday we felt like we say goodbuy to our family members.

The staff members are great, the location is perfect with great views if the mountains and in a quiet area but not too far from the main street. They have motorbikes to rent at a good price. Breakfast is great, the bacon is top! Much better than other places on the main tourist areas. The swimming pools is always clean, cristal clear with views to the stunning mountains and main cliff. The rooms are so nice, so bright, two floors, big living area with coaches, clean great hot water and pressure. Views to the cliff from your room. Definitely a place to repeat.

Very modern, large and clean hotel. Both sides of the bed equipped with USB A and USB C charging points so you don't even need a power plug. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is far enough from main Aonang to be very quiet and peaceful while still being only a 70THB Grab ride away from the main shopping district of Aonang. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle at fixed intervals to Aonang. Very friendly and exceptionally good service from all staff especially the restaurant crew. Housekeeping is done perfectly. All requests like extra in room coffee, etc and delivering the restaurant menu instead of the room service menu up to the room was met perfectly. Great views of the mountains from my 4th floor room. Nothing really to not like about this hotel.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    The staff from reception was very kind and helped us with the trip to Krabi and gave us a 30% discount. Also, they helped us with an early checkout and taxi to the airport along with takeaway breakfast. Also, all the members of the hotel greeted us every time they saw us. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Also, the food from the pool restaurant was good. The room was very big and every day they cleaned it. I also like that was beachfront. The massage from their spa was good and also we received a 30% discount.

    We stayed in aonang orchid resort for one week and honestly has been the best time of my whole trip to Thailand! Everything was just perfect, room was so clean and spacious, aircon was working perfectly, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve have slept in, room service was always impeccable, swimming pool was so nice and relaxing with amazing view, breakfast was actually very good, perfect location to reach caffès, restaurants and the beach. I would suggest this place to anyone travelling to ao nang in krabi!!! 10/10!!!

    This place is just WOW ! A must stay in Krabi. Fabulous private feeling in small villas with direct pool access. Staff is amazing very helpful , The hotel has a free shuttle to the beach 5 times a day , The walk is approx 20 min by main road passing all shops and restaurants. We have stayed on our 13th anniversary and staff did fantastic job in decorating the bed with champagne in the room. Very recommended stay. Clean to perfection cant fault anything.

    Our room on the 5th floor had a really good view of the Krabi mountains from the balcony. The breakfast was extensive and the breakfast room also had a really good view of the Krabi mountains. The hotel is a short work from everything and has a a regular shuttle to the beach front.

    We loved Krabi! Location of hotel was good, in busy road near ample restaurants, 711, beach activities etc and breakfast was good. Hotel has a van going down to the beach about 3x a day but with set times we often missed. Kids enjoyed the pool.
