Mr Dew is very kind and so helpful, he organizes everything for us, we feel so safe and good. A very clean hotel and breakfast is amazing, even it starts normally at 8 and we need to check out at 7:00 he still offer breakfast for us before we leave. very nice place, we would come again!

We had one of the two bungalows directly on the beach and loved the 5 nights we spent there. The staff is super sweet and helpful, the breakfast (and coffee!) is amazing and the location is also great. The bungalow was squeaky clean and the bed comfortable. We loved our stay, it was super laid back and still in the livelier part of the island. The "road" didn't bother us at all (there is not much traffic to speak of). The staff was absolutely fabulous and always tried to help in any way they can (and even organized us bikes).

Our room was very nice, modern and clean. the beds were comfortable. Its located in the area with all the restaurants and supermarket. Its really close to the beach where you can watch a beautiful sunrise or find a nice bar/restaurant, but the sea tide is very low, so the best beach for swimming is Charlie beach, where you need to walk or take a taxi.

Beautiful apartments, clean, cleaned every day. Quiet location right by the sea. Very nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast - fruit, vegetables, eggs, toast, pancakes. Nicely furnished apartments. In the center of the island there are a few restaurants where they cook well. We only tried the one that had a pancake house by the bar. tables in the garden opposite the supermarket. Two nice Thai women serve there, the prices are great.

First off, we've been travelling for 3 months around SE Asia and this has been our favourite place so far. Bird and his wife are some of the sweetest people we have met. They brought us fruit bowels and delicious taro and Coconut cakes each day we stayed, while also insisting on giving us a lift to the beach or wherever we were going. We hung out in the Reggae bar in the evenings and had some beers with Bird, his wife and other guests while chatting and laughing. Really good fun. The property is also very quiet and peaceful, the bungalows are basic but comfortable and the toilets and showers spotless. We would have loved to stay longer but had to leave the island unfortunately.

This is a very picturesque quiet clean comfortable bungalow a little away from the center of town but within easy walking distance. This makes it tranquil and peaceful. The host was extremely attentive appearing with coconut water and freshly roasted cashews after a long hot walk. Apart from treats she provided daily water bottles and toilet paper. All in all a wonderful 8 day stay.

Run by such a welcoming and helpful family, they were great. The room was perfect, simple, clean and the bed was nice. Family minimarket next door and they will book any and all trips for you giving tonnes of advice and help.

The staff were kind and helpful.

The staff were kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was hands down the best on the island. The thai omelete, the massaman curry (really all the curries), the french toast, the roti, the mango sticky rice, the pad thai, morning glory, drunken noodles, agh everything was incredible. Besides the food, the views were incredible. The sunrise was spiritual. The ambiance is so peaceful and gorgeous. If you need a taxi(tuktuk), they'll call one for you. They also coordniated a private longboat tour around the island for us. We did incredible snorkeling with our local guide and was the emerald cave at a time when it wasn't packed with tourists. Short walk into town using the walking path along the water. It's also an easy tuktuk ride to the pier and to Charlie Beach for sunset. It was the most magical and peacful stay. I want to go back right now!

Koh Mook is a beautiful island.

Koh Mook is a beautiful island. There are no cars, just mopeds and motorcycle taxis. The beaches are quiet with beautiful white sand, great bars and views. The island is quiet with not too many tourist. The small town is near the pier as you arrive and has numerous restaurants and bars. We used City Centre restaurant on more than one occasion, but everyone we used was first rate. My wife and I travelled with three friends and we all felt safe and everywhere and the people so friendly, by the end of our 10 night stay we felt like we knew everyone on Koh Mook! A motorcycle taxi is 50 barts per person and the drivers are friendly. The Emerald Cave trip is a must do, but go early (8ish) to miss the tourists from the other nearby islands. We used Mr Jes (thing it was JP Travel) near the pier to book our boat trips. No hard sell and good value for money.

Very beautiful, nice jungle walks, cheap restaurants to be found a bit away from main Street, clear water, nice beaches, not too many tourists , but o man... The sandflies!!!! Got 100 bites within 4 hrs, didn't notice until later.. They weren't surprised at the clinic 🤣

Koh mook is very chilled and relaxed.

Koh mook is very chilled and relaxed. One main little street with an atm ( not working while we stayed) couple massage places, bars, 3/4 supermarkets and a handful of restaurants. Main beach is Charlie beach and easily accessible by tuk tuk, 50bhat per person as the sane across the island. 2/3 days here is perfect. Great value for money as really nice bungalows will cost you around £35 a night in high season. Highly recommend.

A small lovely island but you don't need to stay there more...

A small lovely island but you don't need to stay there more than 2 - 3 days as there is basically two main beaches. You can use it as a base for other trips but with Koh Ngai and Koh Kradan just across the sea and very close. Stunning island, but very much more a traveller/back packing style with low budget accomodation. There are some lovely bungalow places all along the beach though which caters for all taste. Worth the extra bit of time on a boat to get here and Charlie beach and the water is some of the best I have seen.

Koh Mook is still a working island and life is going on all...

Koh Mook is still a working island and life is going on all around the tourists. The beaches were beautiful and the prices all round very affordable. It’s not a party island at all and is very slow paced and definitely worth a visit .

The room was perfectly located and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable (the best we've had) and the washing smelt lovely and clean. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Our shower wouldn't give any warm water after 1st night and the staff had a new shower put in for us. I'd recommend staying here but bear in mind it is a budget stay so not if you expect luxury!

A little paradise on the most beautiful beach of the island. We’ve been traveling in Thailand for over a month, and this hotel has been our favorite. The family running it is incredibly helpful and always smiling, assisting us with excursions, transfers, and anything else we needed. The bungalows, set in a gorgeous garden, are clean and very well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Loved the pool which is bigger than The 5 star Sivalai, great location in middle of the island 10 minute walk to restaurants. But hotel provides a free Tuk Tuk shuttle to anywhere on the island. Really nice owner who sets the family friendly tone for the resort. They went above and beyond to make the stay memorable

An incredible stay on a beautiful island. The huts were spacious, comfortable and the surrounded peaceful gardens added to the experience. The breakfast was so tasty and the staff just finished off one of the best stays so far in Thailand. We will definitely come back and highly recommend especially for the price

It's a great resort, beautiful beaches and pristine sand around the whole resort. Staff very helpful and caring, good value for money, breakfast is fantastic and a good kitchen sums it up to be one of the best resorts i have visited.
