This villa is incredible. A clean and large private villa with great cooking facilities and a large fridge and tv. The hosts are so lovely and will do anything to help, and the food they cook is delicious. The pool is incredible, clean and well maintained and perfect for spending an afternoon with. 7-eleven is in walking distance, about 15mins away but it’s not on Google maps, however the hosts have a map in the villa of everything around. The beach is also very near and the hosts can drive you into Hua Hin as grabs could sometimes be a bit hard to get. I will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel is a true hidden gem, in my opinion, the best place in the area. It’s perfect for those who want to escape from people, hustle, and noise. The hotel features a magnificent garden with a pond with fish and a waterfall. It’s simply amazing to look out the window at the trees or read a book in the shade. The entire hotel area is beautifully maintained with great care, filled with flowers and lovely plants. Guests also have access to a nice pool located on a neighboring property. The hostess and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with excursions and transportation. Fresh towels are provided daily, and room cleaning is available upon request. The sea is just 50 meters away. There are many great restaurants nearby offering delicious Thai cuisine. I highly recommend visiting the nearby Phraya Nakhon Cave—it was an amazing experience!

A wonderful place to explore the Sam Roi Yot area. The owner made us feel at home and helped with everything we needed. Our apartment, the Golden Elephant Suite, was very spacious and beautiful. Also the shared terrace, the large shared kitchen and the amazing rooftop are amazing places to hang out and have a great time, alone or with Mae and her lovely friends and guests. We could use the bikes and the Saleng, which was great to discover the bay. A paddling trip organized by Mae and the paddle monkeys beneath trips to Kui Buri National Park, Phraya Nakhon Cave and the Bueng Bua Wetlands - just to mention a few - where incredible and will stay as wonderful memories in our hearts. We can't wait to return.

The Host David and his wife were absolutely brilliant!! Very accommodating. The included Breakfasts were Yum, the garden beautiful and well kept, the pool amazing and just the whole relaxed vibe of the place relaxing and refreshing. We both loved it !!!

We really enjoyed our time at Baan Mahasamut and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and natural getaway. We extended our stay twice 😂 and appreciated exploring Pranburi for 15 days. The rooms are nice, beautiful, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and the pool with a Mountain View is definitely a highlight. Som, Peter, and Theo are really cool! Thank you for hosting us.

This place is a gem! It is so peaceful, in the middle of nature with cows, birds, trees, mountains all around. The hosts are very friendly and we enjoyed the presence of their cute dog and cats. The cottage was beautiful and comfy, the pool was such a bonus and we appreciated the aesthetic of the whole place. We absolutely loved our stay and could have stayed longer!

Mok & Rick are exceptionally welcoming hosts! The food was amazing and I really enjoyed chatting about music over a couple of drinks late into the night. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax or start you’re day trip from, this is it. Nice beach, some activities, Kajak, ATV, restaurant, massage places, some caves. Some hotels are specifically kids friendly. Good beach if you want to relax or for a family. Not really for party people, only if you bring everyone for your party yourself. Also bring Moskito spray!

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon.

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days. The first day I visited the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It was definitely one of the highlights. Even the walk was nice, especially the first climb with nice views over the sea. I arrived before 10:00 in the cave, the perfect time to have the best sunlight. The second day I made a tour around the park (about 120 km) and visited nearly all indicated places: the Sam, Phraya Beach (nothing special), the Khao Daeng with boat tour (nice), Khao Daeng View Point (a difficult and sometimes steep climb, but with a wonderful view), and the Lotus Pound (very nice but not the best season to see the blooming lotus. Returning I took road 1021 where you can have beautiful sunset over the wetlands.

peaceful and quiet place in the middle of beautiful nature. we didn’t even felt like going out to see the national park because the place was just amazing to relax in, it was exactly what we looked for. we rented bicycles from the host and it was very nice. The host was amazing and so nice and helpful, he knew also English and most important you could feel their love to the place. the sunsets and sunrises were beautiful from the balcony. we are really thankful for the two days we spent in Numpu Baandin.

Staff were great, breakfast was good, location was excellent. 15 minutes drive to the Bueng Bua boat trip which means you don't need to drive the longer trip to the boardwalk as the boat takes you there. ATV for families a short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and free bike use from the hotel. Lovely pool as well. Peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. I would definitely go again.

The hotel's privacy is excellent, as it is the only resort on that beach. It’s all yours to enjoy. It’s a very nice place to relax during our holidays. We even stayed an extra night. Loved it and would love to come back again. The staff are friendly, and the food is very good. We stayed in a pool access room, and all of us loved it.

My parents had a fantastic stay at the hotel! They loved the peaceful location and the value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout their stay. Breakfast was okay. However, we did enjoy taking advantage of the hotel's complimentary bicycles and riding to the nearby beach.

Booked for a friend.He was very pleased.Only one issue with the sliding door and the lock.Free bicykle but could have been better maintained.No brakes on 2 of3.No air in tires for 1or2.Nice and friendly wellcome and during the stay.Overall-Good value for money in Sam Roi Yot.Reccomended.
