I had the pleasure of spending a full month in this beautiful apartment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Fawzi is a fantastic host – very friendly, responsive, and always helpful. The apartment is tastefully furnished, quiet, and fully equipped with everything you need. A big plus is the possibility to do laundry and the secure garage, where you can safely park your motorcycle or car. The location is excellent – peaceful yet well-connected. I felt truly comfortable here and can highly recommend this place.

Muhammed and Brigitte are great hosts. We loved to stay at their place. They helped us not only with recommendations for places to visit and eat but also made us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.

Had an amazing stay in Douz in a beautiful Ksar room with hot water shower. The place had much character and the beds were unbelievably comfy, perfect after a long day of exploring Sahara. Included small but honest breakfast. Sounds of animals around made our stay more authentic and peaceful. Host honest and communicative, can help you arrange activities around.

The public area is very atmospheric and has an authentic desert feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and have working air conditioning. They prepared a very delicious dinner for me upon request and the breakfast was nice too. They also arranged trips into the desert like camel tours and jeep tours. Located at the edge of the desert. Douz is a fascinating and authentic small town at the edge of the Sahara. Market day on Thursdays transforms the town into a vibrant hub, bustling with locals and tourists alike. Insider tip: Head to the animal stock market early in the morning (around 6–7 AM) to witness traditional trading in action — complete with lively negotiations over sheep, goats, and camels. A true local experience!

The owners could not of done more to make our stay absolutory great ,form meeting us in the main road of Douz at 6pm at night and showing us the way to the property to suppling every thing we needed for a great stay... It was a very last minute dissension to go to the international festival of the Sahara and finding this incredibly CLEAN ,WELCOMING great place was a real bonus and made our time in Douz a time to remember....All thanks to Akram and is wonderful partner.

The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice.

Very beautiful place, each “hotel room” is a separate luxurious villa in a beautiful park. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The outside and inside pools are amazing, every detail is thought of. Nice gym. A place with a lot of potential. Definitely recommend for a relaxing experience.

A remote camp, two hours in a 4x4 from Douz. The tent was really comfortable and the evening meal delicious, and there was alcohol. wish we would have stayed extra nights
