We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Carikci Hotel. The warm and charming atmosphere, combined with outstanding staff who were attentive to every detail, made our experience unforgettable ! Breakfast served at the table was generous and delicious. The calm and elegance of the hotel created the perfect setting to relax. A truly remarkable service and a heartfelt welcome! We were travelling in Turkey with two other couples (childhood friends). I had booked three rooms - one each for each couple. Whilst in Turkey, my wife's mom passed away and we had to return home to South Africa immediately, the day before we were due to check in. When told of this unfortunate incident, the hotel management immediately refunded my room (the cash was in my account before we arrived home) and gave my travel companions an upgrade to their room! I cannot thank this hotel enough for this simple and yet awesome gesture. Note: The ratings I gave were based on our travel companions' comments.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Hotel! Thank you so much to Cengiz, Ekram, and the entire staff for the warm welcome and great hospitality. Everyone was kind, professional. We arrived after midnight and reception gave us a very warm welcome, then from the first morning til we left we had a fantastic time, all the staff were amazing the manager Omer was very friendly and helpful, always making sure we were happy with everything, Turan always smiling and approachable at the bar, always going out of his way to make our coffees exactly how we wanted it, Yusuf and Veli very friendly and always ready to help us with anything we needed, the cook was so nice and the food was always yummy, will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends.

Very nice hotel. THE VIEW is incredible. We got the all inclusive package and had plenty of beers, tea, coffee and juice as well as enjoyed the foods from the buffet. The all inclusive includes all local drinks (beer, wine, vodka, raki, gin, tea, coffee, juice). The food was very tasty. Not a massive selection but sufficient to always have a good meal anyway. The private beach and loungers with umbrellas were also really great. We took our own beach towels with us.

Marmaris is a fantastic town — the restaurants, shops, and overall atmosphere were wonderful. The shopkeepers do try to invite you into their stores, but they’re not pushy — if you say no, they leave you alone. The shopping is excellent, especially for sportswear, trainers, shoes, and bags — lots of great bargains and very good fakes. We visited at the end of September, which turned out to be an ideal time to go, with a nice mix of people and a great vibe. Icmeler is just 10 minutes away by taxi (around 500 lira) or by bus (about 1 euro), and buses run every five minutes, so I definitely recommend using them. Icmeler is also a beautiful town and a great place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back for another holiday!

Marmaris is beautiful , and is a great base for exploring the Turkish coastline by sea taxi or ferry , has everything you need and the local Turkish people are very friendly and are willing to go out of there way to help you if needed , loved it here :)

Great castle and museum - with amazing Roman artifacts and a splendid view from the battlements. The undercover market was huge and cool in the heat. The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. Lots of good places to eat - some even without a giant TV showing the football !!

If you want cheaper food and drinks stay off the beach front at night, but found not to bad .there are plenty of bars and restaurants away from the beach area.on a food budget nip into blueport shopping mall upstairs variety off foods all at affordable prices. Talk off the town evening show great very funny, worth a visit and drinks are good .

The location was surrounded by all night Disco Bars. Belting out music till 5 AM. The breakfast was non existent, and what was served was very poor quality. The deluxe room was microscopic. Everything was old and worn out. Staff completely not interested.

The Sunway Hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful. A lovely gentleman welcomed us at the hotel and even entertained our little one while we had breakfast. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a fantastic range of cold meats and fruits. The pool was lovely, and our 2-year-old enjoyed it immensely. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away. Best of all, since we were driving around Turkey, we appreciated the private parking spot in front of the hotel, which made things very convenient.

Amazing location, just footsteps away from Marina/Marmaris Fort/Bar street/Grand market on all sides. Basically at the center of everything in Marmaris. Very good rooms, more than adequate size, clean room/washroom. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there and will recommend to anyone coming to marmaris. Loved the breakfast by the marina in Bono Restaurant. Im glad we chose this Hotel.

Outstanding hotel. Staff wonderful. Always attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional both in quality, variety and presentation. Of all the hotels we have stayed in, not only in Turkey but elsewhere, this has to be the right at the top end. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
