Calm Boutique Base with Breathtaking Sunset Views — Highly Recommended We stayed at Hiram Suites Cappadocia and found it to be in an ideal location — right at the quieter end of Uçhisar, just a short stroll from the famous castle and surrounded by several high-end boutique hotels. You get the same stunning views and serene atmosphere, but at a much more reasonable rate. Breakfast was a classic Turkish Kahvaltı Tabağı — hearty, fresh, and beautifully presented. It really set us up for the day. Being based here also gave us easy access to the best terraces in the area for drinks or dinner — without the crowds of Göreme. All in all, a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it as a base for exploring the region in comfort and style. The people that own or run this place make it a wonder stay! Truely one of the best spots for viewing all of Cappadocia and the Balloons in the am. And a short walk to the castle. Stayed in the Presidential suite and it felt like it was the highest apartment in the entire region. Amazing. Breakfast was good too. Honestly, you can see why it’s rated so high when you meet any of the staff here. Already miss Cinnamon the friendly hotel dog.

It was a wonderful holiday. Clean rooms, comfortable, nice staff. The rooms have shower and personal care products, slippers and bathrobes. Everything is new and clean. Turkish breakfast was amazing. From the restaurant you can see the valley, and in the morning you can see hot air balloons. The location of the hotel is excellent: the hotel is on the main road and there are parking places. You can walk to Uçhisar Castle and walk along the Pigeon Valley (you will return to the city by municipal bus (15tl) if you reach Göreme). Great hotel where we stayed for a few more days as it is really worth it. The guys at the reception can advise you on tours or balloons, as well as tell you the best places in the area if you are by car.

Soleado was such a nice experience. This is a small hotel ran by a local family. Şerife and her lovely family will try to do anything to make your experience pleasant and comfortable. She helped us by providing tips and a daily route/plan through the region. She also tried to help us by booking a hot air balloon ride (although we were not lucky because the weather didn't help). Breakfast was such an experience: they offer you several hand made products (bread, jam, spreads, etc) and also products from their own backyard garden. We stayed in a corner room with a large balcony. It was quiet and comfortable. If you want to avoid noise, crowded streets, and you want to have a nice place to rest while touristing through the region, then it's a super nice option.

Beautiful and quiet place. Less busy and less expensive than Georme. Locations near Uçhisar castle is very lively but rule is same. closer your stay to main hub costly and busier it gets. Less than 10 mins drive to Georme town centre. Uchisar castle is worth visiting. Pigeon valley is 10 mins walk

Uchisar is a charming village and a must-visit destination in Cappadocia, crowned by the iconic Uchisar Castle, the region’s highest point. We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of...

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

My Story Cave Hotel was exceptional for us. Our room was clean and smelled very nice. The location is also very good, almost in the middle of the town, which makes it easy to reach attractions like Uçhisar Castle by walking. A nice turkish breakfast was served. The staff was also very nice and accommodating and even stored our luggage for free when our departure time was later than the check out time. If you want to experience the magic of Uçhisar, My Story Cave Hotel is definitely the answer.

For folks who want to stay away touristy Goreme, Uchisar is a great alternative. This hotel is an exclusive property that overlooks natural rock formation, which was super great. You can go to central town in 10 minutes walk but it is uphill, not too bad. If you have a car, then Goreme, where there are lot more restaurents, is a 10 min car ride. Very classy hotel with great fittings and nice cave hotel architecture. Understated, elegant and classy.

Anatelein hotel is a must stay cave hotel in Uchisar / Cappadoccia. The views are incredible, the landscaping and design are excellent and mesmerizing. This is an enchanting hotel with excellent staff and facilities. The restaurants are great with nice food. Big thanks to the team led by Iamcappadocia Tour Travel who arranged out excursions to the underground cities, open air museums in the area. Highly recommend!

We totally recommend the cave hotels from Uchisar for the exceptional view over rhe valley and for the special experience of sleeping in a cave room. :) The one where we've stayed was small but cosy and warm (the nights in Cappadocia în October are quite cold).
