Absolutely everything! Stunning spacious room with comfy bed, hot water, a safe, air con, fans, lovely extras in the bathroom eg coffee soap and loofahs, good towels, big bottles of water each day, turn down service - amazing coffee of course, generous breakfast, stunning rooftop fir guests only before 10 and after about 3.., very kind staff

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Excellent location, just next to ferry. Walking distance to all the attractions in the city. The staff is friendly and very helpful, I booked room only but the breakfast was very nice, 10$ but it was amazing with a lot of varieties, happy to see the cheese platter at breakfast. The rooftop has absolutely amazing views. It’s a main reason for my booking. The room was clean and smell pleasant. Overall I can recommend
