It was a good experience, my family and I stayed here so we could go to the Charlotte Hornet’s Game. The train station was near by, we walked there and were able to have close access to the entrance to the game. The train ride made it easy for us to get around.

We only stayed for a single night on a travel lay over so were not able to visit the city, but the hotel was a lovely treat on what was otherwise a frustrating change to travel plans due to a hurricane.

A very clean and fun city.

A very clean and fun city. The four neighborhoods are well defined and the cities history is very cool. Downtown is laid out very logically, easy to get around, lots of museums, very walkable, a downtown train and buses, a great jazz club - The Middle C. The location gives you access to both NC and SC colleges, banking, technology, football, baseball the outdoors

Charlotte, North Carolina, truly lives up to its nickname as “The Queen City.” It’s a vibrant mix of Southern charm and modern energy — a city that feels welcoming, innovative, and full of life. City Vibe & Atmosphere: Charlotte offers the best of both worlds — a growing urban skyline with a relaxed Southern pace. The city is clean, walkable in many areas, and filled with friendly people who make visitors feel right at home. Uptown Charlotte, in particular, has a lively atmosphere with restaurants, rooftop bars, and cultural attractions all within a few blocks.

I liked the fact that we got a chance to get away and thought that we found a deal for a room that we would be using for the next three days. The part i didn't like or expected was the condition of the property. It looks ghetto from the outside and even worse inside. I would have never thought in a million years that i would have to share my space with a bunch of roaches. I was pissed and disgusted. The extended stay needs to change its policy to only rent to blue or white collar workers and not people on welfare.

The Carolina Raptor Center was great!

The Carolina Raptor Center was great! 7th Street Public Market was perfect for coffee, pizza, beer and ice cream. Went to Bechtler Museum and Mint Museum in Uptown - really enjoyed both. Golf cart tour was very informative.

The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. I also enjoyed having a refrigerator and microwave as some hotels do not offer that. It was also very quiet. I like that there is a shuttle service to the airport which you need to arrange at check-in to get you back to the airport the next day.

There was nothing I liked about this hotel. I was stranded at the airport and thought booking a national chain would be a safe choice. Boy, was I wrong
