The hotel is truly fantastic. We loved everything about it. We spent three very comfortable nights there. The cleanliness is better than in your own home. The scent throughout the entire hotel — both in the common areas and the rooms — is wonderful. The staff is super friendly. We came for work, and while I was working in the business area, my children were with me drawing. When the reception staff noticed, they immediately came over to offer them coloring supplies. The Christmas decorations were beautiful — everything was so well taken care of. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but there was delicious coffee available to guests all day long. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because the weather was really bad, but we did use the gym, and it was clean, with towels and water available. A huge thank you to everyone working at this hotel — from reception to housekeeping, and Marcela in the breakfast area. They were extremely kind, hardworking, and always had a smile and a kind word. People like this truly make a difference. I would come back 100 times.

I arrived at 3am and was very well attended by Miss Samoya. She was super kind and friendly! The room was very clean. The next day our breakfast, which was almost at 10am, was complete, the guy who was replacing all the items was very helpful and polite. I was really impressed with the quality of service and the entire structure of the hotel. I will definitely be back!!!

Hubby had a stroke while visiting his brother. Needed a roll-in shower and the room was perfect. In searching for hotels with a roll-in shower, there were few and far between. I came upon this hotel. Breakfasts were good. I know people complain about "no meat" but heck go to Denny's if you want a full breakfast. This worked for us. They had a variety of food. I like that you could access coffee/tea at any time of day.

This is a new building. Very well kept both inside and out. Bonus - free use of laundry facilities. Attractively decorated. Generous sized dog walk area. Pool, loungers, shelter with table & chairs as well as barbecue facilities. Although on the busy Miracle Parkway it is almost directly across from the Lisa Jackson waterside Park. Lots of shopping nearby. Accessibility is built in with some rooms having special equipment for the hearing impaired. Doors all 36" wide. Kitchens feature full sized fridges.

Fort Walton beach is perfect to settle in to the beach life! Still plenty to see and do, but not overly busy! It is within walking distance to most area attractions and driving distance to more popular shopping, attractions

Currently lots of construction going for a new bridge, and...

Currently lots of construction going for a new bridge, and surrounding roads near the bridge. Has a free Air Force museum and a pier. Lots of seafood restaurants, a new glow-in-the-dark sidewalk that links FWB to Destin. Found that Anglers had good food and a nice view. Stayed on the island away from busy Destin and was relatively quiet. Side roads included a dedicated bike lane. Nice white sand beaches and sunsets. Water is a little chilly around November so did not go swimming. Watched some people fish from the shore and catch fish.

This beach is well cared for by the city, absolutely beautiful. One of my top ten favorite beaches. The family friendliness makes this place exceptional. Enjoying the beach with a great place to eat and sleep make this place a gem.

The beaches are beautiful!

The beaches are beautiful! Stewby’s Seafood Shanty was our favorite place to eat. The best potato salad I’ve ever had and the grilled grouper was great too! You have to make the 12 minute drive to Destin and try the donuts at the Donut Hole. They also serve a sit down breakfast! If you want something fancier try Boshamps and ask for outdoor seating. Nice setting on a marina! A little pricey but well worth it! They do have a water park for the kids and an airplane museum for the husbands! They have some nice shops in Fort Walton or take the kids to Alvin’s for a souvenir from your trip!

Fort Walton Beach wasn't as crowded as Panama City Beach.

Fort Walton Beach wasn't as crowded as Panama City Beach. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to restaurants and souvenir shops. We enjoyed eating at The Crab Trap nearby; which also had souvenir shops in the same building. Stewby's Seafood Shanty was directly across the road from where we stayed and the food was wonderful! You need to go early to beat the dinner crowd! The only downside was the construction nearby that made traffic an ordeal.

Our visit to Fort Walton was great.

Our visit to Fort Walton was great. The traffic was extremely manageable, making access to local attractions a breeze. The beach was great-the sand was soft, having virtually no broken shells underneath one’s feet, which made walking on the beach very nice. I would definitely recommend!

The location is outstanding. There is easy access to the beach from the pool area. The bed were confortable and plenty of space for my family. We had a family of 4 and had more room than we really needed. Parking was close to the unit and access to thw unit was good. Overall it was a great price for a pretty nice place with a pool, easy access to the beach, a great location and a decent view. I would definitely stay again.
