The little snack store in reception was great. Stocked up on junk food, sat in a huge, amazing comfy bed and watched Pretty Woman! Solo female traveller heaven! Complimentary toiletries smelt great, facilities were clean and the bed was massive. Top notch.

I have had better. The ‘breakfast potatoes’ were the pre- made bought-in hockey puck, so basically disgusting. On the other had they did have marmelade as well as jelly. And the service was attentive.

    I was born and raised in Norwalk. It is too much city for me now but it was fun seeing our old house and visiting a lifelong friend. If you're into NYC, it would be convenient by train. It isn't for country folk.

    THE REASON WHY I HAVE DECIDED ON THE ABOVE ANSWERING IS BECAUSE I DID TRY TO HAVE ANOTHER ROOM AND WHEN THE HOUSEKEEPER KNOCK ON MY DOOR WITH A CREDIT DEBIT CARD AND NOT HER HAND WHICH IS A SIGN OF INCARCERATION IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT I MADE DUE WITH WHAT I HAD AND FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH TIDING AND THEN MADE SURE I EXITED THIS MORNING IN A TIMELY MANNER BY 8:15

    The Restaurant was not available on the 1st day neither the night and the Movers were there the 2nd day and night as I was able to walk across the street for Take Out Dinning and A Treat Beverage in which the person at the Front Desk was able to assist with in consideration as the staff at check out.

    Room was clean and service was great, however the furniture was old and scratched and dented and the tv was way too small for the room. Also we cut our stay short by one night due to an emergency and they would not refund the one extra night because they said we booked the room with Booking.com, what a rip off, thanks Norwalk Inn.

    I used it as a possible one day adventure, but only used it...

    I used it as a possible one day adventure, but only used it as a safe place to park my car for the following trip to the Bronx. I could not find appropriate hotels in Bronx with their own free parking.

    I pretty much summed up our thoughts.

    I pretty much summed up our thoughts. The Norwalk Inn is a wonderful surprise. It worked out wonderfully for us and our quick trip to and from NYC! The hotel staff reached out to help us in any way w/o overdoing it. They wanted to assist as needed! During our stay, we ate twice in the bar area. The service was top-shelf and the food was spectacular! Truly! We also like the fact that the hotel is set a ways back from the road.

    The location was ok, i like there was a microwave oven in the room so we can quickly heat up food for my son. I can see the hotel tried very hard to provide as much cleaning where possible. But the common areas such as the corridor, lift, door handles can increase the frequency. Parking was convenient. I would suggest to make better use of the multi story parking.

    it was immaculately clean. The bedroom was very cosy and neatly decorated with a traditional New England feel. very comfortable bed and pleasant lighting . great to get away from that corporate hotel feeling
