Great to have full suite to spread out and enjoy and our private patio was lovely in late afternoon. Appreciated fridge etc to store our food for hiking snacks, etc.; wine & beer. Clean & comfy! The breakfasts were fantastic!! and we enjoyed eating on the small patio with the sun & birds. Cookies --yum!!! Staying in the Village of Oak Creek was an excellent choice -- the proximity to Sedona was great and despite some paving & traffic issues into town during our stay, we were able to find alternate hikes and routes to them to avoid going into Sedona. Nice to stay out of the busier touristy town of Sedona, though we liked walking around in the town one evening. Sedona Brewing and Oak Creek Brewery were great (in Sedona). Excellent restaurants just across the main road from Las Posadas that we walked to -- best empanadas we've ever had!. Would highly recommend this & hope to be back!

The staff was friendly. The room was sizeable and exceptionally clean. The facility was quiet and had wonderful views of the hills. The bed was comfortable. It was located just outside of the noise and congestion of downtown. Excellent value. The decor was basic but simple is good for us. There isn't a pool or breakfast but for the price, you can have a good meal at a local restaurant. We look forward to our next visit there.

Perfect location at Bell Rock, you can do the best hike (double loop) starting from your hotel without searching for parking lots. We love art and food, so were really happy poking around in the old part of town. There are some great galleries and fun shops of several kinds. When we were much younger, would have availed ourselves of the hiking opportunities our family has told us about. The scenery is pretty spectacular

Absolutely awesome place - unique amazing natural red rock formations, with lovely trails to enjoy. We had some lovely meals in a variety of eateries and I would expect most people to find some menu that suited them as the choice is vast. Don't do what we did which is pick Thanksgiving as this made it rather busy. It really is a lovely mystical place.

This is such a beautiful town filled with great restaurants and shopping. The views are amazing, and you are so close to many things to do. We had a fabulous Grand Canyon tour. There was so much more to see and do including finding out that there are some good wineries right outside of town. We plan to go back!

Pretty.

Pretty. It's crowded on the main drag, but that's because people like it. Lots of bars/restaurants and much of it is walkable. Didn't see to much rowdiness. Great views. A tip - if Google maps tries to send you on a route that includes "Thompson Rd." good luck. We saw a Thompson Way at the locatiion indicated, but it had a gate. Google hallucination I guess, Anyway, enoyed it.

This is an amazing destination if you're into hiking.

This is an amazing destination if you're into hiking. The Devil's Bridge is awesome as was the Boynton Canyon Trail. There are many more as well. We were told it can get crowded at times. We were there in mid-October and the crowds weren't a problem if you start out early.

We couldn't stay, sadly.

We couldn't stay, sadly. We were there just one night, during which my sister developed a shocking cold, so she wasn't up to the walk we had planned the next morning and we moved on. However, in a year or so we plan to make up for this and stay a few days. We thought the town looked lovely and the scenery around was fabulous. There are so many interesting trails waymarked we were sad not to do any this time.

Great option to be near everything in Sedona. The room was great, from the decor and facilities, to the little additional touches. Also love the Malin & Goetze bathroom products! Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included gives you the option of either continental, or to put the amount towards something from their a la carte breakfast menu!
