Excellent location. It is on the main road, I even didn't have to take a taxi, My bus stopped right at the door of the hotel. Even at 10 pm I could find something to eat as there are many eating places around, a supermarket, and a couple of corner stores. The place is very clean.

As it was the 50 year anniversary we struggled getting accommodation around the area within a $$. Had to stay at a resort which is not my kind of deal but under the circumstances it was pleasant enough. Quite expensive within the resort, the town centre of a decent cab ride away. We walked the beaches and they are really filthy, such a pity because they are beautiful, rubbish means nothing here. The resort clean up their small area but dump it next door in a pile, I guess that’s what we pay for the modern era moving in. The view from the room is very good perfect little balcony with a small clothes line. The layout of the resort is quite remarkable considering the size of the place and the rooms very cleverly done.

The Superior Double Room was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped. The room received ample sunlight and had excellent air circulation, making it feel bright and fresh. The nearest supermarket is just 5 minutes away. The owner of the hotel is super friendly.

All services exceeded my expectations despite busy business during the holiday. There are many restaurant options and the service was fast. There are 12 pools so it was not hard to find a less busy pool. Kids club is huge with lots of fun activities. There's even a science museum within. We feel like 3 days were not enough to do everything. My 3yo had such a great time. There's a food court for lunch with less $$. The room is so spacious and there are 2 toilets. I've never stayed any resort with 2 bathrooms. We loved everything abt Alma and definitely would come back. One of the best resorts.

Fabolous resort! Loved the beach, the breakfast, and rhe beach Club! The resort is quite big, but not too big to get around. This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. Pro tip if possible. Go for a villa with your own pool. Its large and you dont want to use the other pools in the hotel! Promise! Go also for Luxury package with breakfast in the Colonial. Fewer people and less stress and you have a more vip breakfast area. Saigon bar! Loved it! Live music 2 days a week! Eat and drink on the hotel? Not so bad prices to be a 5 star on this level! Pools-in peak times get up early. Could be full. Use the beach! Its pristine! There is enough sun beds in the grounds, but if you want to stay right by the pool you might consider be there there at 8/9 o clock. Staff-great! Couldnt be better! All staff want to help all the time!

    Layout of the resort was brilliant, very busy but they managed. Downside is the rubbish you are having to walk around along the beach, many planks with nails facing up dead puffer fish of which u don’t want to stand on.

    Cam Rahn is the gateway to the International airport.

    Cam Rahn is the gateway to the International airport. Although the place is now in renovation of the streets and all, it might take sometime to complete those projects unlike Nha Trang which is well developed already. Cam Rahn has some hidden gems if you just try to looked around. Very local. Good cafes (better research first), near the beach and cheap groceries too.

    You won't experience much of the Vietnamese culture by...

    You won't experience much of the Vietnamese culture by staying in Cam Ranh, it is very touristy (many Russian and Korean tourists) and there is not much the see in terms of sightseeing; one temple and one shrine. Nevertheless, because of the tourist aspect, the facilities are good and there are many restaurants and shops. I would recommend visiting this place in combination with a resort stay, if not two days are enough to see the highlights.

    The beach is nice just in front of the hotel- in the other areas, it's dirty and not well maintained. The restaurants are just in the hotels and very expensive. I would prefer to stay in a hotel close to a village so I could have so more options of food/ activities.

    The Cam Ran Resort was a unique experience I would recommend...

    The Cam Ran Resort was a unique experience I would recommend to everyone who would like to relax and enjoy life. From the A-Z the service was spot on and all services have been a solid 10 from 10. With the location setting and the daily Yoga classes I was able to recover from a long and hectic year in only 7 days. The variety on Food reaches from Western (US/European) to local Viet Cousin, everything on a level that it authentic, which you find rarely. I have stayed for 7 days straight in the Resort and have not missed anything. Reading on the beach was as joyful as watching Ghibli Movies in the Resorts own Cinema as listening to the band play at night in the Restaurant. Strengthening the local community with work and supporting artist, you feel a true happiness people bring towards you. Something I have not experienced before. Overall I would rate the Resort/Hotel one of the best stay I have had in my entire life.

    Nice beach a good place to relax Lots of excursion and cultural places to visit like the big Buddha, Alexander museum The local markets where you can get lots of bargains There are lots of restaurants to choose from at very good prices My favourite were luisiana brewhouse and tunas kitchen
