This is such a beautiful sanctuary with amazing hosts Betty & Neil and including Panjoh the furbaby! It was an honour getting to know them all! A beautiful family! The beachfront Cabanas is an absolute peaceful sanctuary! Right opposite a beautiful beach, with spectacular views! I got too see whales, sharks and dolphins from the patio view! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises! Shopping is no problem if you use the app pick60, they deliver your groceries within an hour or 2! The location is also right behind the mall which is a short walk! The rooms are stunning & clean, when you're sitting on the veranda you get to meet Panjoh too who is so beautiful and and an absolute sweetheart like his parents! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Everyone is so beautifully kind and friendly! There is not 1 fault you can pick out! The apartments are spacious and luxurious but what makes it special are the hosts and the care they put into it! I will deffo be returning at some point on my trips back to africa and as a whole i wish i stayed here longer! It was so peaceful and just chilled. There's a beautiful pool, and bbq(braai) area! So much peace and beauty! It woulsnt be the same without Betty and Neil, their care is top class! Its also a peaceful area and vibe, truly stunning i cannot articulate how amazing it was! I absolutely loved my stay here and cant thank Betty & Neil enough for their welcome and warmth 💙 You both have built an incredible sanctuary! If i lived in SA id come and stay there just for a rest and break! There's no way you can be bored even, with having the beach right across from you, it was lovely going and watching the sun rise and just having natures beauty all around you! I also got to see the sardine run, thanks to Betty telling me to go see it! What an experience it was that i will cherish but also meeting them, the best souls on earth! Beautiful souls with a beautiful tranquil place to unwind!

It's easy to get to the shopping center and there is variety options of restaurants. There's a lots of options to to have fun, the beach is not far. I will definitely come back with my family, kids will have lots of fun.

It’s also a convenient base for exploring Durban and surrounding areas, while still enjoying a quieter, more relaxed setting. I loved the Afsaal flats cleanliness and quietness the entire building was amazingly quiet and clean. The Toti area is just clean and quiet Easily reachable via the N2 highway, with public transport options from Durban in case we didn't have our car. We required medical services as my 5-year-old got sick, the primary Netcare facility in the area was Netcare Kingsway Hospital. This private hospital offered a comprehensive range of healthcare services and is conveniently located we couldn't struggle to get its location.​My favorite place was Toti Main Beach, ideal for swimming, and fishing. The Water Park, my kids loved the water land, and the warm Indian Ocean makes it pleasant even during this season. Shopping malls close by. I dd not like my shopping experience at Checkers Galleria mall though it was packed on the 26th we stayed on the que for 1,5hours. I also did not like how the water was so dirty at the Toti main beach all the rubbish inside the water.

Amanzimtoti are such a great holiday location, just 20 min...

Amanzimtoti are such a great holiday location, just 20 min out of durban connecting with the south coast. my Favrourite town and mall - and i dont like malls, i love nature... Galleria has an Ice Skating ring, Ferris wheel and even a mini train for little ones. with Ample restaurants and off course a seaview from Ocean Basket. This town has safe night bars, family orientated restaurants on the beach and in Doonside, from the rugby club where you can buy 1 get 1 local pizza on a wednesday night to where kiddies run on the fields and a sunday where you bring your meat to a greet and pay R35 for salads and buy drinks, my favourite new restaurant are the monkey bar with the most amazing view of toti where you have the BEST EVER hamburgers. Then off course there are SPLASH AND THIRSTY WHALES That make Amanzimtoti Beach very special - amazing entertainment for the family. Many little local restaurants and shops to support or just come on vacation to beach road to 1 of so many holiday flats or book holiday homes on airbnb and drive to 1 of 4 beaches within 5 minutes. Should you want to Experience the Wild Coast sun - we are just 2 hours away... home before you know it at very affordable rates for accommodation!!

First of all, it is the hospitality that we received it was excellent. The price was reasonable. I used their own facilities for cooking. Everything that I need in Amanzimtoti. My favourite place was the beach.

The beach is wonderful.

The beach is wonderful. The Spur is on the beach as well as the Thirsty Whale. They have lifeguards. The walk ways are clean and tidy. There are a few take away shops also on the beach front. There is a Dis chem and Woolies and The Galleries Mall has a huge variety of shops. They also have a bowling alley for the whole family.
