The lodge was extremely comfortable, luxurious and relaxing. The rooms were spacious with wonderful views across the bush. seating outside was comfortable and private. The restaurant area and communal lounge area was very tastefully decorated in keeping with nature , local culture and the environment. The information in the rooms was not only extremely informative but interesting across a range of subjects from the local school to the flora and fauna. Peter and Claudia were very welcoming and helpful and we really wished we had planned to stay longer as there was clearly so much to do in the area and we will definitely return the next time we are heading out on safari.

An amazing place and friendly people!🥰 The accommodation was stunning, and having the river so close was a real bonus. Each kid found special treats waiting on their beds, which was a sweet touch. The jacuzzi was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Everyone we met was so friendly, we felt right at home and didn't want to leave.

We had an amazing time at canyon west villa with our four children aged 12, 9, 9 and 7. Erna and Andre were amazing hosts. We arrived late afternoon and Erna had prepared us a fantastic dinner that we all enjoyed. The house was perfect. Very clean, spacious, comfy beds and factastic admosphere!
