It's my second time staying at Khiwane and it was once again amazing. The rooms are very spacious, there is a lot of space and the beds are very comfortable. There are a few restaurants around that are very good and it's close to the center of Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in beautiful Hoedspruit !

Beautiful lodge, stylishly decorated with a great African look and feel, beautiful garden with pool just next to the green belt. The owner Fabian and all team were very friendly and helpful. Fabian communicated pro-actively and quickly. He picked me up from the bus stop without extra charge and I could leave my luggage for a few days as well. Great area for bush walks and drives - both can be done on your own - I saw giraffes, warthogs, waterbucks etc. Still close to toen - perfect location.

The location & style of the accommodation were perfect and so romantic. Nyarai and the staff were nice and gentle! Our stay was so great we wouldn’t leave and will come back for sure as soon as we can. The cuisine on offer at Moya is so delicate and sophisticated, with a chef and his assistant who take the time to explain everything and lead the way with brio! We enjoyed every moment of it. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where the Moya is, is really safe and you can see many animals 🤩 Thank you Nyarai and the team! You rock 🤩

Great location In a private nature reserve so we saw lots of animals just driving to the lodge! Such as buffalo, wild pigs etc Fantastic host and staff- thanks Annie! The lodge itself is fantastic, lots of amenities, a nice bar, common area Amazing pool with a umbrella and comfortable loungers. The room itself was modern, had AC (very important in this hear!) The outdoor shower is truly magical. And of course the food was really delicious You cannot go wrong picking this place for a luxurious bush safari experience.

Beautiful safari lodge with excellent staff and stunning game drives. Thomas (our main game driver) was excellent and made the drives so much fun. Whilst we unfortunately didn’t see a leopard (due to the numerous lions and elephants pushing them out), we were lucky to see all of the other big 5 on numerous occasions, including lion cubs! The accommodation was the ultimate glamping - comfy beds, in an air conditioned tent with an en-suite power shower. There was also a veranda overlooking the bush and watering hole to spot the animals. The food exceeded all expectations - as a vegetarian I was also looked after for every meal with thoughtful and delicious dishes. The sundowners at the viewpoint overlooking the African sunset cannot be beaten. I wholeheartedly recommend this lodge for any type of traveller looking for a South African safari.

This was our favourite from all our accomodations we've stayed in South Africa and here's why: - Jenny & Ruan are amazing hosts that go above & beyond to make your stay memorable - Beautiful interior design of the lodge with a unique touch. They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner!

A great location for some rest and relaxation.

A great location for some rest and relaxation. I went on a Big 5 safari game drive, and got to see the animals up close. I also had a heavenly spa experience at Karuna, and visited the nearby reptile park to see some rare snake species. Lots of restaurants around to try out a variety of meals, I went to the Club House and had tasty ribs. Then the breakfast at Aragula is to die for.

Great central point for exploring the Kruger Park, private...

Great central point for exploring the Kruger Park, private game reserves, Blyde River Canyon and many other spots in the region. Many lodges to choose from, tours, charters, restaurants, shopping centers in the town. Agricultural hotspot, with many mango and citrus farms, plus macadamia and avocado farms nearby.

Impressive little town with lots to do in town and in...

Impressive little town with lots to do in town and in surrounding areas. The town had great little shops and amazing restaurants with lovely ambiance and views. It felt clean and the roads recently tarred. The grass of the game reserves' boundaries next to the main roads were all cut which looked well kept and neat. It was just disappointing that it was not possible to do self drives or walks inside any of the surrounding game reserves unless you were staying in the reserve. The Kruger was your only option. My favourite restaurants were the Blue Mountain restaurant, The Argula Experience at Zandspruit and Aerotel. Great trips in the surrounding area were Blyde river canyon boat excursion, Mango Mohlatsi and Maholoholo rehabilitation centre. Had a great trip to the Kruger Park entering at the Orpen gate and taking the Timbavati road to Olifants camp and the river dirt road to Letaba and exiting via the Phalaborwa gate. Saw lots of game following the dirt roads next to the rivers.

I did not stay at Hoedspruit - just used the airport for...

I did not stay at Hoedspruit - just used the airport for transfer to camps. The airport is very small and hot - no fans or air conditioning - but efficient and the staff is friendly. No problems. Very small shop. No cafeteria or restaurant.

A heaven for animal lovers as you get to see them in all...

A heaven for animal lovers as you get to see them in all forms. Excellent town with all the amenities you need for a vacation or to escape the pressures of the city. There are also several interesting stops one can make along the way, such as the Museum of Men or Echo Caves, when driving from the Mpumalanga side.

It is a lovely laid back town with plenty of wildlife...

It is a lovely laid back town with plenty of wildlife experiences Our experience at HESC was memorable with our awesome guide Heike The town has local coffee shops curios and is close to Kruger park and wonderful panoramic drives. Shops like Pick n Pay and Spar are also here for those who have self-catering accommodation

The location of this hotel is so unique! It was such a delight to drive through the estate and see giraffes roaming about. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and so filling! We opted for dinner for one of the nights and could not have been happier with the 3 course meal that was served! I would highly recommend doing the cycle tour that is offered, it is a stunning way to view the wildlife that is on the property.

I love the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful . We had a very warm welcome..The breakfast was scrumptious. The pools was absolutely amazing. We loved all the facilities. I am a nature liver 'so to me the whole set up is breath taking. We had an Ultimate getaway as a family. We will definitely come back again. We would recommend Radisson Safari hotel to anyone who need a break away from the city

The place is secure, welcoming, our option was self catering and we had access to anything we needed for self catering stay, the quietness of the area, being surrounded by beautifu nature, fireplace, pool area, the kids also liked their room, perfect wi fi conection, very clean, nice shower and bathtub, we really enjoyed, very nice place for a family to enjoy stay in Hoedspruit.
