Everything about the property is great, lovely dinners, lovely ladies from reception to the serving. Lovely room, very clean and cosy. The location also great, I’ve travelled more than three times and I use a small hatchback but the roads aren’t bad.

We had an amazing time at Milima. Everything was perfectly organized and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The location is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos. It's truly special to watch the wildlife at the waterhole right from your breakfast table or poolside lounger. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the game drives with Thomas! A great location for some rest and relaxation.

A great location for some rest and relaxation. I went on a Big 5 safari game drive, and got to see the animals up close. I also had a heavenly spa experience at Karuna, and visited the nearby reptile park to see some rare snake species. Lots of restaurants around to try out a variety of meals, I went to the Club House and had tasty ribs. Then the breakfast at Aragula is to die for.

Great central point for exploring the Kruger Park, private...

Great central point for exploring the Kruger Park, private game reserves, Blyde River Canyon and many other spots in the region. Many lodges to choose from, tours, charters, restaurants, shopping centers in the town. Agricultural hotspot, with many mango and citrus farms, plus macadamia and avocado farms nearby.

Impressive little town with lots to do in town and in...

Impressive little town with lots to do in town and in surrounding areas. The town had great little shops and amazing restaurants with lovely ambiance and views. It felt clean and the roads recently tarred. The grass of the game reserves' boundaries next to the main roads were all cut which looked well kept and neat. It was just disappointing that it was not possible to do self drives or walks inside any of the surrounding game reserves unless you were staying in the reserve. The Kruger was your only option. My favourite restaurants were the Blue Mountain restaurant, The Argula Experience at Zandspruit and Aerotel. Great trips in the surrounding area were Blyde river canyon boat excursion, Mango Mohlatsi and Maholoholo rehabilitation centre. Had a great trip to the Kruger Park entering at the Orpen gate and taking the Timbavati road to Olifants camp and the river dirt road to Letaba and exiting via the Phalaborwa gate. Saw lots of game following the dirt roads next to the rivers.

I did not stay at Hoedspruit - just used the airport for...

I did not stay at Hoedspruit - just used the airport for transfer to camps. The airport is very small and hot - no fans or air conditioning - but efficient and the staff is friendly. No problems. Very small shop. No cafeteria or restaurant.

A heaven for animal lovers as you get to see them in all...

A heaven for animal lovers as you get to see them in all forms. Excellent town with all the amenities you need for a vacation or to escape the pressures of the city. There are also several interesting stops one can make along the way, such as the Museum of Men or Echo Caves, when driving from the Mpumalanga side.

It is a lovely laid back town with plenty of wildlife experiences Our experience at HESC was memorable with our awesome guide Heike The town has local coffee shops curios and is close to Kruger park and wonderful panoramic drives. Shops like Pick n Pay and Spar are also here for those who have self-catering accommodation

This boutique hotel is in a semi built up area. It's new and the aesthetic is beautiful. We had the garden view with seating outside. Lovely bathroom with heated mirror. Very nice set up. Comfortable bed. Food next door at Harvest House was very good and super fresh. Coffee was included with breakfast but somehow I ended up paying (after confirming with the waitress) R41 just to have almond milk. That did not seem right, reception was advised. Reception staff were lovely. We also booked a massage next door, which was lovely.

Was the only guest, and the chef was amazing cooking for one! I'm very glad the hotel offered me the opportunity to pre-book the meal as location seemed remote. Chef was very pleasant and interacted. Beautiful room with doors out onto patio.

The staff as always are wonderful so warm and welcoming. My 3rd trip back and I will definitely be going again. The new manager was extremely helpful and I believe will be another asset to the hotel. It's my favourite place in South Africa.
