We had a great stay with Simone and Morne. Beyond the hotel which was perfect for us, we enjoyed their delicious food, their great knowledge of the area, their help with reservations and their advice. It was simple, friendly and very relaxing, thank you again for everything, Simone and Morne!

Staff made us feel welcome from arrival to us leaving. The pool and bar area was very comfortable and fitting for the African experience! The meals were delicious and plentiful! The mosquito nets over the beds were very welcomed! Having the wild life on the door step was lovely to see. Assistance from Jondre and his team to get our car out of the mud after the welcomed rains was greatly appreciated! I Would definitely recommend a stay at Timbavati!

Annie and the stuff was so helpful and friendly. The food was fabulous, the room clean and very comfortable and the advice from Annie very helpful. It was a family atmosphere. thanks for everything Annie. I can only recommend your lodge and hope that many more guests can enjoy your hospitality.

The place is very clean and well-kept, beautiful, in the heart of a private and quiet nature reserve. The cabins: each cabin is isolated from the other cabins. Although there ia a shower and a hotub, there is (in addition) an outside (isolated) shower. The bed is insanely comfortable, the atmosphere is romantic and reminiscent of the movie "Memories of Africa". Each cabin has private access for the vehicle. The hosts: A warm local couple, Bryan and Lynn, loving and caring, even after we left the lodge. From the first moment we got the feeling of a "home away from home". Meals: we especially enjoyed breakfast and dinner thanks to the great cooker on site and we ate the dinners around the fire. One night we even spotted buffaloes while having dinner. In conclusion, staying at the place is highly recommended, even if it is necessary to get there specifically. Thank you so much, Bryan and Lynn.

Excellent food, impressive personnel, I felt like I'm a VIP person. We had a morning bushwalk and an evening safari, which was included, and it was great. We saw zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and wild dogs

We loved our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Annie welcomed us and showed us around . The place was so clean and the gardens are beautiful. Loved the comfortable bed. We did a sunset game drive and saw zebra, giraffe, buffalo and warthogs.
