We had 3 weeks holidays in South Africa crossing the country by car and staying in many places. But when I asked my family what was the best accommodation, the Black Rock was on the top of the list. The Two-Bedroom House is spacious and very well equipped. Wood for BBQ was prepared before our arrival. The ocean view from the bedrooms and the terrace is amazing.

We had the best stay at this cottage. Such tranquility, the view is just amazing, I wouldn't mind waking up to it every morning. Steve, the owner, is just the friendliest person ever. Thanks for all your help and advise! Breakfasts were delicious. Everything was really perfect. If you like peace, nature, simplicity...this is your place!

The staff are exceptional here, super friendly. I stayed in a hut which was perfect, really comfortable bed and clean. There’s an evening meal which is great for meeting people but there’s also a kitchen to cook in if you wish. Again super clean and everything you need. They organise plenty of excursions, my only regret only staying for 2 nights!

Very warm welcome and great hospitality from Belinda and her team. Vegetarian food options were prepared only for us, Many thanks also for the very delicious muffins. Everything was perfect. After we moved in a room with 2 single beds the hotel team moved us to a room with double bed and a amazing sea view. Our car was washed before the check out. My wife was invited by the cook to learn how he is preparing our breakfast. All upcoming questions about living and the landscape have been answered. We made a trip to the amazing hole in the wall - a safe area with a beautifull beach to spend a few days

Place is just amazing! Phenomenal views overall of the bay. Breakfast area is breathtaking Room was lovely and finely hand curated for the décor. Very cozy bed, curtains and the washroom.
