Shepherds Tree is such a beautiful and relaxing space. I stayed there with my partner for just one night and our only regret is not being able to stay for longer. The bedrooms are lovely, the view amazing and the staff accommodating and kind. We got lucky and got to see THREE LEOPARDS, this thanks to our wonderful guide Doreen who hustled and moved around the park to get us the best views and the most awesome experience possible. Game drives are in small groups, so the experience feels very personal and unique. I couldn't recommend Shepherds Tree more and hope to return soon.

Amazing stay. Staff was very helpful, they make you feel like home. Rooms are big, clean and very confortable. Food is very good, we loved the dinner served at the room! It was our honeymoon trip and everuthing was great! The games were nice, we were not luck the first ones but in the last we saw lions and elefants!

This is an exceptional lodge in an amazing environment. My wife and I had been on safari many years ago in the Masai Mara and yet Pilanesberg while different was just as rewarding. There were two organised safaris each day and each and every one created memories to cherish. I loved the staff, who were so proud of the game reserve and so committed to making sure it was a wonderful experience, always friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the chef was just great. I loved our spacious lodge and its little plunge pool. Our safari guide Humbu really helped make the experience special. We are so grateful to him, with his incredible enthusiasm and knowledge, for the way he used his wisdom from 22 years of doing this job to orchestrate the best possible sightings for whatever animals we encountered.
