Port Alfred is a small and attractive town with beautiful and clean beaches . It has beautiful villas guest houses and nice hotels with tasty food .There are so many tourist attractions eg. The golf club. It has two malls, Heritage mall and Rosehill mall. We went to eat at spur with my family.

Beautiful coastal town with lots to do.

Beautiful coastal town with lots to do. We attended a beer festival in Wharf street. Guido's at the beachfront is a must for a simple but cheap meal with friendly service. The chicken liver starter is absolulelty to die for and enough as main meal.

We found Port Alfred clean and the people very friendly.

We found Port Alfred clean and the people very friendly. The down side is out of season we could not even book a river boat ride. Itwas told told to us there must be a min of 10 people. Could they perhaps use smaller boats for say 2-4 people? The tar roads are full of potholes in the streets and this needs aerious attention. The new mall was great and we had some fantastic cooked meals at Judys Kitchen.

It was my first time visiting the Eastern Cape, must say I'm impress with the clean ocean and beaches available. I enjoyed Heritage Mall. It does cater for everyone 's needs. The restaurant Guido's makes the best pizza's, burgers and fish and chips in town. It is very easy to get around Port Alfred and surrounding areas. We got used to the area very quickly. The Kowie River really completes the town with the boats going out daily. The national roads are brillantly maintained therefore it is a breeze driving on it. However the local roads need lots of TLC. We will most definitely come back next year. Well done Port Alfred!!!!

Comfortable and affordable acommodation can be found.

Comfortable and affordable acommodation can be found. Kelly's Beach is always very popular. It has been awarded Blue Flag Eco-certification. Boat rides are available, and are a lot of fun. Guided Birdwatching trails around PA are popular. Judy's Kitchen in the Rosehill Mall, as well as, The Highlander, serve delicious meals.

I love Port Alfred, I have been visiting for many years, business and pleasure! It has the most beautiful beaches, and little shops and things to do. There are hidden gems, you just need to find them.

The property is absolutely stunning with amazing views of the valley and marina at the bottom. Beautiful sunrise and moonrises over a pool setting and especially enjoyed the little family of dassies that play in the garden and bathe in the sunlight for warmth. The hosts are genuinely lovely people and the rooms are well above value for money. I will definitely stay here on my next visit for sure.

Everything from its location overlooking the Kowie River through to its owners who were excellent hosts, for myself personally I found it to be an absolutely wonderful stay and will without a shred of doubt be visiting again for my next trip to Port Alfred.
