I really liked the Lebos Backpacker accommodation, the rooms are big enough and clean. The outdoor area is particularly great with very comfortable seating in reggae style. The music event with great bands and artists was really great and definitely a highlight of my trip. The atmosphere was fantastic, there was delicious beer and nice people. I booked a bike tour for the next day where I got a good insight into the culture and history of Soweto. My guide was extremely nice and professional. I would have liked to have stayed longer, thank you very much

Our stay with Lungi and his family was memorable ! Staying with them is like being part of their family for a short time. You get to experience historical Soweto as well as today’s reality, through the eyes of a local that lived through its history. The food, cooked by Cynthia, and shared with the hosts, was absolutely amazing. We did the 4-hour + lunch bicycle tour and it was super interesting. Lungi was very knowledgeable about Soweto’s history, but also very generous in sharing the untold stories of his city. Don’t miss out ! Oh and the room is perfect, spacious and very confortable.
