GermanyI am very glad I found this place. I ended up learning so much about the local culture. I stayed for four nights and saw a Chinamwale dance as well as a Gule Wamkulu dance (for fun). After travelling in Malawi for four weeks and now Zambia for a week, this was the first place, where due to the diversity of projects going on in the Center, I really got a better idea about the live of the local people and everyone was just so welcoming, independent of them being part of the tourist accomodation or e.g. gardening project.
The lodge is low budget but has WiFi and 24/7 electricity due to solar power. I really enjoyed staying in Huntington House, it felt so comfortable. The food is simple but tasty and the ladies are happy to cook you crazy stuff you bring from the local market like crickets (which were surprisingly tasty). I would definitely come back a second time.
