Beautiful old cottage. Well appointed, quiet. The pub down the road was also fantastic- good solid food and well priced too. Amazing host. Went out of their way to help us do our laundry.

Our lake view room was large, and very comfortable. Fabulous scenery, just sit and enjoy the entire vista. A big bathroom with both bath and shower, and a magnified mirror....(I love that for putting on the makeup!) The breakfast was absolutely delicious, 100% to the breakfast chef and staff, all the staff were friendly and courteous and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant, again it was really lovely, and the waiter was very helpful in recommending a wine to compliment our main course. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to the beautiful Lake District.

Ian welcomed me to his home with warmth and guided me to the many attractions around the village Rydal. The room was homely and cosy. The garden was beautiful and a lovely place to relax. My stay included breakfast. The breakfast was deliciously prepared. There was safe and secure parking at the property.
