Check inn and check out process is very easy. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and threat everyone like family. The views are exceptional the place is very quiet and tranquil despite being only 10 min from the main city. Will definatley be comming back because it was a great experience.

The Pedra Novo is a wonderfully and lovingly furnished hostel. Architecturally in keeping with the historic centre of Castello Novo, it is an absolute insider tip. The owner Miguel and his crew are very friendly and attentive.

The host is a charming person. All of my special requests were met. Place is beautifully located and the area around has many places to visit: Alpedrinia with its Roman path, Garduńa mountains, river beaches and the nearby Fundao and Castelo Branco. In addition to that one can find a lot of interesting events organized by local communities.

This hotel is exceptional, it's so good we booked again after only three months. This hotel is possibly the best choice if you're visiting Sierra de Strella. Beyond the stunning mountains, the area is an amazing experience. This hotel is an outstanding find. You definitely won't be disappointed. The service at the hotel is superb, and the restaurant is at a fine dining level at a reasonable price. They also offer a good variety of vegin and vegetarian options. We will be back. 100% recommended.

The CountryHouse has only 6 rooms of excellent quality and with a location in the midst of the most beautiful nature. I usually never come back to places on vacation but this was our second visit as everyone wanted to revisit the place. What I really value is that the owners and staff really seem to value relations and experience of their guests. They remembered our two daughters who enjoyed some wonderful days there Values of sustainability and simplicity are also highly attractive There is a pool (too cold for Feb) and a tub which is warmed on request
