Our host Giovanna was lovely. She gave us tips on what to do in the area. The house is a walking distance from the Pianello ferry that gets you to the other villages and tourist spots. Breakfast was lovely with different home made cake everyday.

I took my family here as a surprise for my sister, she had no idea where we were going and… driving up the mountain made it even more fascinating! The atmosphere made us feel at home, the family who owns this place have a good heart and they will make sure you will be very well taken care of. I felt like I was in good hands all the time. The chalet was warm and cosy. We had a private garden with bbq, incredible views… and hiking paths literally at our doorstep. It’s great if you want your own space as a family/ group or couple. The attention to detail is tangible. It's true the drive up is a mountain road, but in my opinion it makes the experience very special, the views are breathtaking during the whole way. It's absolutely worth the drive! We will definitely come back.

The apartment was perfect for a couple and had everything we could need. The host provided many small thoughtful items such as water, snacks, instructions for the apt, tourist info, and toiletries. The location is great, close to Bellano center and Varenna, and therefore easy to access anywhere around the lake. And, as noted by others, the view from the apartment is spectacular - the lake and mountains are breathtaking. In addition, the host was attentive and willing to help out with whatever he could!! Overall, it was a lovely place to stay!!!

El Agriturismo Crotto Di Somana, que dispone de jardín y zona de bienestar, ofrece alojamiento de estilo rústico en la campiña de Mandello del Lario. Very nice and cosy house near the most interesting Como lake Mountain (Grigna) , the room has one of the greatest views over Mandello and the lake, the hosts were very friendly and helpfull. It definitly worth It!
